Do I need braces?

I actually have straight rows of teeth but they are jutting out so my mo ask me to drink water using my mouth, not my teeth cos I used to bite at the opening to drink. Recently I get the habit of pushing my teeth back using my mouth whenever I can and it works as the other side already push back and now I am pushing back the other side. But my mom would like to take me for braces if she has time. So do I really need it?

retrainers could work just fine because your teeth are straight
but if it keeps coming back and forth braces are the best. I know so many people who had retainers and braces for a short time and when they removed them it came back (that's why dental splinting is important too). of course all this if you have the money or a good insurance.

if you can afford them, put it on,you will deffinetly not regret it,my mum at first didn't want me to put braces because they weren't much croocked, they were cute but i wanted to get it fixed as soon as possible and it is the best decision ever,i am taking it off in 8 days, well,i hope so,if not, then deffinetly in June :D

Well honestly, you have to decide if you're happy with them. Although it wouldn't hurt to ask a dentist or so, because in some cases it would be good to get braces not only because of how your teeth look, but also because it could become problematic later on (eg if they start digging into the roof of your mouth or sth)
