'I'm a very spiritual person': Lindsay Lohan confirms she's considering converting to Islam... but hasn't finished reading the Koran

 

 

Catholic-born Lindsay - who revealed that her younger sister Ali was also exploring her spiritual side and had converted to Buddhism - has yet to finish reading the lengthy holy text, however.

'Do you know how long that would take?', she exclaimed.

 

Should Lindsay convert to Islam, she would join a host of famous faces including Mike Tyson and Janet Jackson who have followed the same path.

 

The Mean Girls actress also explained how she practices a form of meditation called tapping, which involves tuning out to send calming signals to the brain.

This is far from the first time Lindsay has shown an interest in other religions.

 

Lindsay previously described herself as a 'very spiritual person' in a docu-series with Oprah Winfrey.

 

'I'm a very spiritual person and I've become more spiritual as time has gone on,' she told the talk show host.

 

'I'm really in touch, whether it's prayer or meditation... there are so many powers greater than me in the world. I've been blessed and lucky enough to have been given a gift to share with other people.'

 

The redhead is currently besotted with fiance Egor Tarabasov, who is rumoured to have proposed earlier this month with a 5-carat oval emerald ring.

She is probably reading up on it. Doesnt necessarily means she will convert and embrace Islam. If reading and 'studying' about Islam could dispel any prejudices that she could harbour about the religion and Muslims, by all means, go ahead. As the saying goes, knowledge is empowering.
