I much prefer Taeyeon's kind of voice and delivery. Neither of them are the best vocalist in Kpop though.

 

EDIT: Lol at them negs because I dare say that neither Taeyeon or Eunji are THE best K-pop vocalist.

Nobody here will be unbiased, especially when Taeyeon is the most popular female idol on this forum.

 

Both are very similar. The margin between their technique is slim, but Eunji takes the cake.

 

In terms of who has better tone or emotion, that is entirely biased and up to preference. I prefer Taeyeon's performance in terms of emotion but I think Eunji has more stage presence and a prettier tone.

Taeyeon vocal tone and how she deliver emotion is what makes her special in this kpop industry . that is the most important thing for every singer. There is no use of having great technique but sounds basic

well that's what i saw in march but it wasn't "taeyeon definitly better than eunji", it was if they had to choose. they're so close so it also depends on what people prioritize when they "rate" a vocalist. all of this doesn't really matter anyway, they're considered even. if some people choose one over the other, it's their personal preference.

I actually think both are really great and Im not in place to judge a vocalist because I dont know anything about it. But I find Eunji more stable in her live performances. I think Taeyeon is an amazing vocalist as well and Im not his fan.
