I finished watching the best kdrama in existence.

What do I do with my life now?

I feel so sad that this drama finished because hands down it was the best kdrama that I've ever watched,it was even better than the Master's Sun when the Master's sun aired it's finale, this drama had the same exact rating when it was airing one of it's very first episodes, it it grabbed attention from episode 1 and remained on top of the ratings till the end.

The cast was so fucking phenomenal, on another level tbh an entire different level! Bae Soo Bin has made it on my top fave actors lists. I loved the part where Soo Bin played scene of Ahn Do Hoon breaking down, he slapped himself again and again and again, painfully realizing what he had done, slowly waking up from the trance he put himself in and the realization that he self-destructed himself and the earth under his feet was crumbling away all because he wanted a brighter future for himself all because he wanted a better life for his parents all. I felt for him so bad during that scene I cried so hard.

I just felt that as if he portrayed that scene so so powerfully, it felt that as if my heart was being squeezed. I think he might have shed actual tears for the scene because that scene was so so moving and his entire face went red, like it was so intense his facial expressions, every detail on it just screamed regret and then he fell to the floor in utter remorse I was just like, nooooooo pls don't cry don't and what does he do? He sobs endlessly, looking like a King who's just lost everything. Despite the fact I hated him throughout this drama that scene really melted me. Bae Soo Bin really stood out for me from start to finish of this drama, he played the role of a true psycho, crying and laughing at the same time, sometimes I wanted to hug him and tell him that it'll be okay bc practically everybody was against him other times understanding through his acting why everybody hated him so so much. He is the epitome of what an truly actor is.

Like he's laughing and crying out of insanity in this scene. (different scene to the one I'm talking about.)

Hwang Jung Geum was pretty great too tbh, with every word she screamed I felt her rage through my computer screen and I applaud her acting. I didn't really get any strong vibes from Ji Sung or Lee Dae Hae bc they acted like any other actor/actress, had you used others to play their roles this drama wouldn't have been the same hence I conclude that this cast were perfect for their roles. Oh and also the actors and actresses that played the smaller roles also perfectly executed their roles, well done, this drama couldn't have survived with you guys either.

If you haven't watched it, your loss, wasting your time with that Heirs bullshit when the real Gold is underneath your feet

This drama deserves a standing ovation like idc they have to win an award or something for this. The cast, the director, producer, story-writer, the whole team.

tl;dr

wahhhh

cry cry

omg no

amazing

wow

hate

love

applaud

oh and sit down bc this drama has the best osts of all time

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PBeMMQ2RCQ8

there are more but these osts are the ones that have I thoroughly enjoyed and after the first time hearing them immediately looked them up.

(okay  I know that nobody may care even the least about this thread but I needed to so badly vent my frustrations)

recommend me some other dramas about revenge that are good

I heard that the lead female was whiny and crying all the time and that deterred me from watching it. If I have the time I'll give it a shot.

I agree about Heirs...I steered clear of that fluff. Suspicious Housekeeper is good tho lol.

Nah, she goes has a her moments though. She cries a lot bc her life is really pitiful getting treated like shit for something she didn't even do is sad

Maybe it comes down to preference idk.

no idk

Dramas like these r my favorites. Maybes cz I find main males more interesting

Idk why I don't like it as much. I can't explain. D: I need to catch up too...

And his obsession reminds me of the drama when a man loves. Maybe If I catch up It wil get better for me

Haha, that female lead for when a man loves made me run for cover.

I found it a bit weird tbh but I shipped them in the end.

I have watched so many dramas, more than I can even count. Like maybe 9328987484378879 dramas jk but I have watched quite a lot, I use to have arirang TV a few years back and I used to watch kdramas all the time on there, idk if they still air kdramas with eng subs though. Now I have a laptop and watch everything on here.

Ugh this drama was so good, normally I hate k dramas but I somehow got hooked into watching this one, so damn good

Bae Soo Bin was the best but I loved the entire cast, the only thing that bthered me was Hwang Jung Eum's face sometimes because I could see all the work she had done clearly

She does cry a lot. But from what I heard, that's one of the good things about this drama. Her crying doesn't annoy you. You really feel her pain when she cries. She was even nicknamed "Queen Of Tears."

OHHHH

Reply 1994 is really good tbh, whereas reply 1997 couldn't grab my attention 1994 actually did, I was surprised bc I hated 1997 but I love 1994

It would be my first time watching a k-drama lol. I keep meaning to get around to it, but then I never do lol. Would I have to watch the first to follow the second, or are they both stand alone dramas?
