Has anyone of y'all embarked into a fitness journey and gotten to a body goal?

Lose weight? gain muscle mas? get lean and cut? got abs?

I'm currently on my journey, it's been 4 years i went from 125lbs to 133 lbs . 23% body fat to about 16%. Got a round toned butt, leaner firm thighs, some shoulders and biceps, my back is toned, but my four pack is still not fully out. I have not reached my goals yet so i wonder if anyone has :rlytearpls:

I'm on my way too, tho I'm not even sure what my goals are lmao. I started regular excercise about a year ago and during that time I've lost about 14kg, but also built muscle.

I don't know about my bodyfat etc because I never got it measured, but I can definitely tell that I'm a lot more muscular than ever before in my life. I'm so glad that I have muscle tone and abs forming already.  I just really don't like veins, so now that mine are starting to bulge I'm so annoyed about them.

I'm just starting to lose fat, yet I still am i the same weight it's frustrating.

Don't worry about not losing weight, especially if you notice your bodyshape changing anyway. I've been excercising for a year and for the first 6 months I didn't really even lose any weight but my body changed a lot. It's only after that I started to lose more weight.

The last time i went to gym, all of them are guys and they keep staring so no. I will never go back. I'm trying to exercise at home but i need motivation.

remember u go for the gym for you don't mind the lookers , perhaps they looked because they were impressed . I get people looking at me when i do crazy shet none of the other girls do which tbh makes me feel badass:fyeah: . Also i don't mind if they look as long as they don't say somethign stupid or touch. The gym also has all the necessary equipment that you do not have at home which means you can reach goals a lot faster than just doign home workouts. Don't get discouraged :rlytearpls:  try to go back

the problem with home workouts is that you see result like once then your body gets used to the workouts and you stop seeing changes that's why at the gym with so many equipments around you can always switch up the routines and use different machines and slowly increase the weights you can lift which results in your body always getting challenged you seeing changes

It's still possible to switch up routines at home succesfully. I don't go to the gym, because I really hate working out among other people and I'm too poor to pay for gym membership rn. I've still managed to constantly improve. It's true tho, you need a lot of motivation to not get too setteled with your routine, but if you manage to be creative you don't need to spend money on gym.

i tried Insanity once i saw results for a little bit but i got so bored and tired of it that i quit and just hit the gym. TBH i love the gym enviornment (as long as it's not packed :omgwtf: ) i think it's what heaven looks like tbh and i just love machinery and all the variety of weights which i don't have at home :ilove:. But you're right , as long as you switch what you doing you should see results

Ah.. I see. I'm around 123 pounds and around 5'1 (cries) but do you also changed your diet while going to gym? Any tips?

of course! the main macro nutrients that are needed are proteins, carbs and fats which come in a variety of ways.

I don't diet as in restrict my eatings i just eat clean, i cut out all the bad stuff and the junk which leaves me with brown rice, fish, avocados, oatmeal, all the veggies that exist, natural peanut butter. I usually eat 4-7 times a day but sometimes i have bad days when i only eat 2-3 cuz i don't feel hungry. Don't think of it as dieting, think of it as healthy eating. Also once you have a regimen you should allow yourself a cheat meal for examply i have cake or cookies and then go right back to my routine.

Pushups and some light barbells. I walk everyday and do split and squat exercises (I'm doing 3 darebee challenges as of the moment)

light barbells tbh don't do anything, they weight as much as a purse so i'd recommend to start going heavier as you're not really working your arms, you have to challenge yourself not make it easy on you. for example i started curling 30 lbs now im curling 55-60 lbs.

If you can do more than 10 reps and yet don't feel anything it means you need to go heavier and do 8-10 reps

Squats are really good to tone up the entire leg area and seems you been doing it for a while because you said you lost fat and yet weight the same which means you're building muscle.

I went from 170-120 lbs but it was over the course of like 5 years and most of that was gradual. I lost 20 last summer.

Recently I somehow got myself back up to 135  so now I'm working on losing that again   :rlytearpls:

My goal is 115-120 though I don't care too much about a number.

Good luck reaching your goals, though! To me it sounds like you're doing great
