Hardly anyone has flawless skin without make up and photoshop. But we are taught that if our skin isn't perfect then how are we going to make friends and get a lover? That's the reason why make up is so popular (well the major one, it's fun too!) It's really easy to create a problem that doesn't even exist like stretch marks and advertise it as something ugly and disgusting. It takes a lot of guts to show your real self in a society that tells us we are never good enough. /rant My nickname is Sei so you can call me that. No more princess shoes. Taught my kids Sumi-e today! My nephew is one of my art students, so I took a picture of his work. He's the least artistically inclined kid I know, but he did so good with this for a first try. I'm a freakin proud aunt, so I have to share. He really doesn't like art and can't even get a stick figure right, so seeing this come out of him was surprising. ohhhhhhhhhhh okay then. nawh, maybe his talents are yet to come out! I love looking at those childhood drawings that I used to think were amazing, but were really... horrible... haha. It's acrylics and watercolor til the day I die, for me! :) It's looking really good. Did you decide on no skulls mounted on the wall? Cherry blossoms are the best! :) ahhh I see. I spent countless hours today, trying to catch up. Now I've strained my eyes so much that even a freakin blood vessel has burst and the eye lid on my left eye is swollen and red.
