I put a blue glaze over my torso from my previous project.  Tis exciting~

I want to see it once it's all done!!

So...you know that moment you're working on a piece and then just decide to half-ass part of it? With me, it usually happens with hair...So I added hair...and really started strong (the sides), but finished not caring for it at all and just doodling the rest of it. Thankfully this is just pencil practice, but still.

**sorry for the crappy photo quality...wow**

I'm working on a drawing right now (not even gonna bother saying who it is because it's probably so obvious) but it's been taking me forever because I have restarted and reshaded stuff maybe like 40 times. I'm surprised. Usually by now I'd either be finished with it or have given up.

I also went home for the weekend and found a mixed media pad I was going to use as an art journal in my room that I still haven't had the courage to bust open. How does one just start one of those things?

oo I wonder who it is... and ahh, that happens when you do less and less of it. you'll just need to re-adjust again. I've only ever drawn 6-8 actual portraits, so I'm basically re-adjusting (but learning) every time

mixed media pad... that reminds me, I need to buy mixed media paper some time.

I'm hoping to sketch up my art onto my canvas tomorrow! I'm on holidays now but I'll basically be doing 5-7 hours of school work each day ehhhh

Guys, somebody from this thread has proposed the idea of sharing advice and techniques for our art?

totally up for that

I'm alright with critiquing as well... but I usually don't like being critiqued unless I ask (because I usually already know 98% of what I need to fix/improve on)...

our resident art teacher Ducky should be able to deliver us with all sorts of useful infos

I've been told by friends and fellow artists that I'm too brutally honest when it comes to critiques. Apparently I'm mean. *shrugs* I'm not sure you want me to critique.  :._.:

I can always give pointers though.

You all can critique my work though, I can tell exactly what's wrong with it as soon as I'm done with it...but I'd love fresh views and thoughts on it.

yeah, ehe... usually I'm just like... 'you're wasting my time, I already know...' but that is true.

sometimes there are gaps and when I know there is something wrong but I can't tell, I'll look for advice. or, there are other times when people have such a different view of it they'll suggest something that'll completely render the piece (positively). so I always have to keep my eyes open~
