fgt 1,210
Nah...making animations is not scary or pain inducing, but it takes A LOT of patience knowing that you'll very likely be doing the same thing over and over again until your eyes bleed. I once had to animate a character dancing the Macarena. I wanted to hurt someone in the process. I ended up animating some balls in the background that would bounce to the beat, that way I didn't have to listen to the song, I'd just animate the character to the beat of the balls instead of the music (and then just get rid of the balls when I was done). Otherwise, I'm sure I would have gone crazy (and I'm already all kinds of crazy, no need to be more). It's always good to find that ONE thing you love and become a master in (but be skilled enough to expand your horizons and evolve). Good luck with it all. I'm sure you'll be great at it. Human skulls on the wall would be trippy? Really? Hmmm...but an animal skull on a human body is equally trippy, no? I...didn't have a human skull hanging on a wall, but I had one for a long time (it got lost during a move). You can put them anywhere, it's never trippy. Or maybe I'm the only one who would be bothered by it? Hmmm... Salvador Dali's work is splendid. I live just an hour and a half away from the Dali museum and make the trip there often. His work is just fantastic. Yeahhh, all the repetitiveness and the need of patience sounds pretty painful to me. I feel it would be a great skill to learn, though. Yeah. As in, if the figure had an animal skull and on the wall there would be a human skull/multiple skulls, by connecting them together, it becomes pretty trippy. A lot of people have human skulls (mostly man-made ones), but they're never put on a fancy piece of wood for decoration. I wouldn't be bothered by it, but yeah... it's not a common thing. So if you have this sort of reversal, you'd be thinking - what is up with that? What's the meaning?

fgt 1,210
No I haven't actually. I think I remember you commenting on one of my yt vids about that program. Idk I have gotten more comfortable with photoshop, and I'm not one to be super fond of change. xD Ooohhh yahhh... fair enough... if you're acquainted to photoshop then might as well continue. More complex features in PS to use. I just found the change so great. Don't have to mess around with creating brushes, since using opacity/flow doesn't do so much. More ideal for digital painting. I can also open/save .psd files in it, so I can switch between them which is also convenient. your sig is sah cuteee doodle in class today @_@ I like!! Thank you hahahaha just a doodle y'know... fgt 1,210
French Impressionism...because of this man: oooo bit of a Monet fan?? I haven't been able to pick a favourite yet tbh... will decide on one soon... never liked fauvism or dadaism... surrealism has a piece of my heart, though... so maybe that
Seyoncé 320
Idk anything about art movements really since I've never taken an art class, but I love Beksinski. But my absolute FAVORITE painting ever is The Flagellants by Carl Von Marr. It's absolutely breathtaking in person. Every time I go to the art museum back home I just stand in front of it forever and stare while my mom checks out the rest of the exhibits haha I even have it as the wallpaper on my computer. >_<

I've seen his work in person and was really impressed by it. The brushstrokes...the use of light..color...Just...perfect. Surrealism is also fantastic though. Good choice. I basically live for morbid art! Actually my mom hates The Flagellants, and when I told her it was my favorite painting ever she got so mad at me like "ALICIA THAT PAINTING IS PEOPLE WHIPPING THEMSELVES TO GET BACK TO THEIR GOD IT'S CREEPY YOU CAN'T LIKE THAT" It's my favorite painting ever just for that reason. Because the first time that I saw it when I was 8 and the guide at the museum explained it to my class, I got so fucking scared. And that was the first time art ever made me feel sort of powerful emotion. So I stare at it today and it's like going back to that day staring at it (when it seemed much bigger because I was so small and that thing is 25 feet tall and yea) Haha yea random anecdote there.
