It looks like colored paper...I miss doing work like that, I should really get back into it. Thanks! I used the thin cardboard from the back of a used block, it's actually a good surface with a nice gray tone. It's good because I layer with white pastel pencil first then it's easier to blend the colors and give them a softer tone. I still need to retouch the intensity of some shadows in the end (because while working it gets a bit blurred) and maybe do some motives in the background to make use of the gray surface more in context with the rest. :) Edited March 6, 2014 by null Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's just so fun to start new stuff... the other day spent 8 hours drawing, 3 different drawings, naturally I didn't end neither one. Always patch-work organization, not productive.
