Would you still have the baby if you knew he/she was going to born with a life-long disease or disability?

I probably wouldn't have it, to be honest, especially if the disability was severe. It's too much suffering for both the parent and the child. But I don't want kids at all in the first place, so I'm sure others would have a different opinion.

You have to consider the physical and emotional wellbeing of everyone involved, the baby, the parents/family etc. If it was a really bad disease would you be prepared to shift your whole life around the care of the child? Would you have the mental stamina to be able to deal with it for the rest of your life? I couldn't.

I know quite a few people with life long diseases and disabilities, so for me to say I would abort would be so wrong. So I'll say that I would keep the baby.

Yes because sometimes the baby doesn't actually have that disease or disability. Nothing is for certain and I don't want to take the risk of taking the life of a perfectly healthy baby. Plus, every baby is a miracle, regardless of health. I wouldn't want to deprive them of their choice to live because some people are perfectly fine with living with their disabilities. Not everyone sees it as "suffering".

The selfish choice would be to choose to abort because having a child with a disability may mean having to give up on your own dreams as well but I believe that life is precious and I believe everyone deserves a chance to live no matter their situation
