I lost respect for her when it aired, before I was on OH. It slowly came back, but winning that award in December for her stuff on MLT was also uncomfortable, at best. If you're thinking of the "special" MLT episode with the creep PD I agree that it's uncomfortable, I never could even bring myself to watch... The "regular" episodes before that, where Choa was in a studio competing with a bunch of other people for views and interacting with the audience through chat, that I liked very much - I understood that Choa herself was planning the contents of each episode, preparing like a madman for days ahead of time and with lofty goals, only to for her plans to spectacularly fail like the hard rock festival with the broken guitar string or the frozen cover with the smoke machine completely destroying the broadcast for like 5 minutes. Her attempts at entertaining her viewers and never giving up despite being tripped up by trying to do too much at once, I believe that was genuine and showed a lot of both her appreciation for her fans and her strong character, while at the same time being thoroughly entertaining... If you've watched these early episodes and feel that they diminish Choas character in any way then I will politely disagree, for me they served to cement my opinion of Choa as a unique and precious individual. We got so much great Choa time, and even the Choa song! I would like to add that streaming for 15 mins alone is hard, but 2 hours is a marathon. Some moments are going to fall flat. Choa did excellent all things consider. Yeah like, this is a good example of Choa: The perfect storm of talent and cute clumsiness.... I mean what in all hells is that backpack with sparkly planks supposed to be that doesn't even work? XD And then she goes and nails the Fallin' cover. How even... I can't even... There was absolutely no predicting what would happen or what Choa would do next, but it never disappointed, an absolutely riveting piece of live entertainment - if she got a reward for that she absolutely deserved it! We could all tell her she's beautiful until we die from it, but if she doesn't feel it about herself, and isn't comfortable, then our words will only be wisps of wind passing over her ears. I was having a lot of fun scolding everyone and anyone who was telling her to lose weight on her instagram btw She was bulking and cutting! Seriously, this physical makeup right now I suspect is perfect for her. When I go back and look at Miniskirt and earlier she seems way too thin, and though that might be "good" by idol standards right now she looks just so much healthier. On the higher end of the curve during Oh Boy she seemed self-conscious and not that comfortable - but right now she's packing muscle and that's great! There was a clattering outside the room and then the door burst open and a dripping Choa stumbled inside. - "Aigo! The traffic is at a standstill! I gave up waiting so I exited the taxi and ran the last few blocks, but the other members may not even come! I didn't want to miss our first training session. ㅜㅜ" Seolhyun lit up with a bright smile. - "Choa seonsengnim! I'm glad you got here but I'm sorry you had to get wet!" - "Yes, I wanted to start our dance instructions, but now it will be impossible with all these soaked clothes, what shall we do?!"
