This MV made me realize how all the male singers and bands in kpop are trapped within catering to female audiences (and gay male audiences at the same time, I guess) Shaking your male butt and being flaming is always welcome, or performing a sappy love story... being this "straight" and naughty in an MV is a no-no... Phantom is already getting hatred for "New Era" If Western singers can do such MVs, why can't Korean singers? Again, transgressing and breaking the rules of kpop. Yay, Phantom! The boys are obviously talented but their "daring" concepts and musical material have been very mediocre, luckily this song is the complete opposite. While their rapping is short, strong, to-the-point and the beat is lovely, the highlights are obviously Sanchez and Navi. Navi made a perfect feature because her vocal timbre is so beautiful and airy, it fits the sexual and moody atmosphere of the song. Hanhae also has a pretty and smooth singing voice- they all intertwined and made this sassy Latin-influenced R&B formula that really worked. This music video teaser and subsequent release was an excuse to have a stripper in your video and gain buzz while keeping a conventional image to the public.
