Article: Netizens argue over Ailee being deleted from ad pictures 'a fair act vs that's too much'

Source: SBS E! via Nate

1. [+657, -36] You can't really deny that her image was impacted by this...

2. [+648, -52] I don't think it's wrong of the company to delete her off the images. It's Ailee who dated the wrong man when she was younger that led to this anyway.

3. [+39, -0] If the company feels that their image will be negatively impacted, then they have every right to take her image down.

4. [+34, -1] From the company's standpoint, I can understand why they'd have to.

5. [+33, -4] An obvious response from the company. Whatever the reason, the scandal isn't anything to boast home about.

6. [+30, -0] That company bought Ailee's image. They're not a charity group required to keep her on if it means a loss for them. Her image will have a difficult time recovering.

7. [+22, -25] I don't really care whether Ailee's on it or not... Just because she's on the ad doesn't affect whether I'll eat it more or less.

8. [+19, -0] Even if I were the CF company, I'd delete her as well...

9. [+16, -3] Even Kyochon Chicken's radio CM song.. Ailee used to sing the first part and then with Super Junior later but they her part out and only Super Junior sings now ㅜㅜ

10. [+15, -0] They're a business, they can do whatever they want

Seriously, I'm amazed idols can make so much money being the face of ad campaigns.  I never care about the ppl in ads.  Maybe I'd check out a specific product if a celeb I liked recommended it in a natural way/wrote a review for it, but otherwise no.

Prior to Kpop...I have never herd of people being: Edited Out of Programs, Deleted From Web Pages, Deleted From Advertisements **RIGHT AWAY**, or Fans Trashing Private Property Because they had a picture up of an Artist, Just because that person might have has something done, or been part of something crazy. Most places take advantage of situation and use it to their advantage. Only when it is proven that a person did something wrong and the Fans have sided against them as a result, do they every take drastic actions. But Kpop world is so quick to change things and demand people be removed from stuff within 24-48 hours of something happening.

I understand if they did or said something that was damaging, and that had a negative impact on sales, but right now Ailee is a pretty "Hot/High Search Topic" right now, so any image people find, there is a good chance that more then 50% of the people searching for her was not that aware of her, and they will see everything she is on when the search her name in search engines, so any brand that she is on should bring even more awareness to their brand. I could understand if they said "Ailee was caught nude with underage kids" (just and example)and they would want that removed right away to distance them selves right immediately, but THANKFULLY that's not the case right now, and almost everything she is on has jumped in views, even her YouTube video views have gone up.
