How strict or traditional are your parents?

On a scale of 1-10 how strict or traditional are your parents?

Indian parents are strict. My parents make me follow many rules. My curfew is 8:30 pm. I am not allowed to hang out with my friends without an adult with us, I can't go to movies with my friends, I cannot have boyfriends and many more...

But they're not that traditional I guess. They don't make me wear traditional indian dresses or follow all the traditional rules and regulations.

Not traditional or strict at all, I voted 1. My parents never mind too much about whatever I did when I was younger, less now that I'm older.

my mom is kind of strict but not really traditional in a classic sense. but she has these weird ideas that date her sometimes, like that shorts are obscene or that you can't wear a skirt or dress without pantyhose even in the middle of august. also she didn't seem to really realize that bisexual people exist and thought that transgender people were weak men who decided that they should be girls because they lacked athletic prowess. so I dunno, maybe 7

Its depends on the things.. My Mom makes much traditional food (which i love so its not a problem at all), they watch like only Russian TV, (my dad like only, my Mom a bit less), they want me to talk with them Russian (but i just dont), the mindset is absolut russian in nearly everything) ..

 

so traditional like 8/9, strict like around 5..

my mom wasnt super strict, as long as she knew who i was with and i wasnt out too late (like past midnight)

 

the only thing was she would never let me sleepover people's houses...even family

my mom was semi-strict (black parents, man) but i am not in contact with her anymore

my dad on the other hand, i'd give a 2. he's only ever been strict with me wrt social things, not letting me go to certain things because he's worried that i'll get hurt. otherwise though, he's super laidback, yet also a really fantastic parent. he's honestly one of my best friends tbh, i tell him almost everything.

Not at all. My mom is the exact opposite of strict. When I was young I was allowed to do anything. When I did something terrible bad she didn't even scold me. She didn't care basically.

1/10 my parents were always the cool and chill parents. I've never had chores, and they weren't strict about anything. I was expected to treat people nicely though, but thats doesn't really count does it lol
