Rio224 300 Posted November 14, 2013 Share Posted November 14, 2013 Earlier i was walking in a plaza....and i saw a homeless guy sitting with a dog, and my first thought was "aww poor dog". As i passed by put a couple of dollars in his cup, and as i kept walking i caught myself and thought "my first thought was poor dog,not poor human being?i'm messed up.." Especially domesticated ones, like dogs, cats, etc. We don't think of them as being able to take care of themselves since they're supposed to be under the care of a human, in a home. They don't deserve bad circumstances because they never did anything to deserve them, besides exist. I think a lot of people don't feel sorry for the homeless however, because they believe the homeless did something to put themselves in that situation.
