Now, we know that virtually every cheerleading team in Korea has learned the dance routine, but what happens in the crowd when Bar Bar Bar is played at baseball games?

Anyone here coming from other fandoms? or You guys pure Cuties here? Im a Mine too but im starting to question my love & loyalty right now, Just kidding!  I read someone here is a SONE. Im a Cutie, Im a MINE too, Lets duel! Just kidding!  I like Soshi too! Right now, BbaBbaBba is a big hit, when I imagine Soshi doing it, its an aegyo blast!  

 

I like a lot of groups, I have said for the longest time that I rarely openly commit to fandoms, mainly because I have no time for fanwars or much all of the bs that goes on between fans of specific groups. I've been into K-Pop since 09 so I've followed quite a few groups from debut on. On the forums I probably post most on Crayon Pop, T-ARA and D-Unit threads. Crayon Pop is one of the few groups I've gone "all in" on!

 The Bar Bar + Bar sensation is starting to make sense now.....A lot of Koreans (Aisian  in general ) love them self some Baseball and if Bar Bar + Bar is continually being indirectly promoted  at baseball games then that's why they keep going up on the charts.....Is it Baseball season in Korean??...Because this explain Crayon Pop new found success.....This what people call right timing..

 

I thought it might be obvious it was baseball season from all the videos of Korean teams cheerleaders doing dance performances of Bar Bar Bar at games!

Why do I feel like the backup dancer on today performance are Crayon Pop own fan....if so that's beyond cool  

 

 

I'm wondering if one or two of them could be trainees for Chrome's boyband...

 

Also, as an aside Geummi has been having a good hair day all week!

Sekine Arisa's birthday → April 12,1999. She looked young but i didn't know she was "that" young. Crayon Pop members are like 1991, 1990, 1990, 1990, 1988. Then Arisa 1999.

She's not, from what was said at the time it was originally announced she's in her 20s, somebody took the age/date of birth from the Korean wiki article. I remember translating Chrome CEO's tweets back when the news first broke. I believe she's supposed to currently be a student at Dongguk University in Korea.

I'm not sure the caption for these pictures is right. Based on the set list that was linked here a few days back, Crayon Pop opened with I'm Beautiful and then performed 1,2,3,4 (Eng Ver.) right after it. The dance routine pictured here is for 1,2,3,4. I recognize the choreography points from watching the fancams!

 

 

Now that leaves us with 2 possibilities... 

 

[1] The photos are of Crayon Pop performing 1,2,3,4.

[2] I'm Beautiful is actually the Korean version of the song!

I think its a new song.... but usually balada dont have dance... 

I hope new song will be catchy

Can someone confirm if this is them. Published date is June 19, 2012 & it doesn't sound Crayon Pop.

We also know how Way rap sounds like. This audio sounds more like SoShi, not Slayon Pope. 

 

I know Dumb & Dumber were the first producers that Crayon Pop worked with. I can't really tell much from that audio clip, but it has been posted on crayon-pop.com for what that's worth.

Charlie confirm with korean fans that the fan base name is sketch book...

 

"Sketch Book"? What kind of name is that

 

That was mentioned on Yoo Hee Yeol's Sketchbook a few weeks back, at the time I had assumed it was referring to a particular group of Korean fans rather than the fandom as a whole. 

I'm not sure how OTT I am on this name. I suppose at worst we could look to go down the T-ARA route with different names in different places (eg: Queen's in Korea, Sweet Treasure in Japan).

I knew I had the video somewhere so I took a couple of stills. It was in the letter that YHY read out during his introduction of Crayon Pop before their appearance on the show.
