The video they released was by all accounts a prequel to the actual MV - sort of like a training montage for (what we expect will be) the dance version music video.

 

At this point Crayon Pop have spread their official comeback out over 2+ weeks!

Chrome Ent. debuting a new boy group?.....I seriously don't know what to say about this  

 

 

I think the assumption is some of the guys in the story MV may be members of that group. Nothing else has really been mentioned since that picture was tweeted a few months back so we're all still in the dark.

 

 

Why isn't the actual MV out yet? The song has been on Melon for a bit.

As far as I know, Crayon Pop's music show comeback performance will be June 22 (Sat) on MBC Show Music Core.

There's no KBS Music Bank this week, so that reduces the number of possible shows by one for Crayon Pop.

 

 

I see Bar Bar Bar is at 31 (-2) on Daum's chart right now, just above Wolf and Bad Girls.

Posted on the other thread on this "issue", I swear I got negged for having a Crayon Pop sig! 

 

If the implied meta scandal is the supposed outing of a Crayon Pop member as an Ilbe reader, then guess what? The person accusing them has outed themselves as an Ilbe reader too. 

 

Anybody who doesn't read Ilbe would have read that "nomu nomu" as a misspelling of very very and nothing more. Only a dedicated reader of Ilbe would know of any other use for that spelling. Also the other meaning doesn't even remotely fit with the context of the tweet which was posted complementing fans on the way they were dressed.

I'm hoping this whole thing runs out of steam pretty quickly, it isn't even possible to read the tweet in any way relating to the Ilbe meaning of that spelling...

 

As an aside, I just checked my web history. I visited Ilbe 6 times yesterday, it's one of those sites that hosts a lot of girl group photos so I assume the K-Pop section is pretty big there. Surely that alone would be enough reason for company CEOs (or group members) to occasionally visit the site in order to find out what's being said about them.

Korean singer JUNO (JYJ Junsu's twin brother) just tweeted about Crayon Pop and posted a link to their MuCore performance from yesterday.

 

The tweet basically says that he was introduced to the group by his brother, thinks the song is addictive and he's cheering them on.

It was definitely a gamble and a shot for broke. I hope they explode tbh. They deserve it.

 

Honestly, I'm excluding the noise marketing angle and looking at it from the other side. 

 

 

 

The timing of this is very suspicious... right as they're making their first (proper) comeback since Dancing Queen. It's almost like somebody or some particular element is trying to damage them for whatever reasons.

 

The 'scandal' involving the girls is logically a non event - in the context of what was being tweeted, it doesn't make sense for their words to be interpreted in any sort of negative manner. As for the CEO tweet, I have reason to believe that that may have been made back around March. So, it's just been sitting there offending nobody and drawing no attention for what? about 100 days - only to be brought up now as proof of something...

 

And all that ignores the fact that the netizen who broke this scandal would surely have to be a regular Ilbe reader themselves, otherwise they wouldn't be able to identify the slang used there and accuse somebody of using it.

 

 

 

I'd prefer to see this all blow over asap, the only positive is they've had the same amount of views in 2 days on a practice video as Skarf have had in 3 weeks on their latest MV.

 

If I could hit reset on this weekend right now, I would tbh.

I just realized, with all the 'noise' that's been going on these past few days we sort of missed Crayon Pop's 1 year anniversary. 

 

Technically, since the Bing Bing MV was released on June 24th last year, we've now passed the one year mark!

 

 

 

Just dropping by to say how much I love "Bar Bar Bar"

The song is so catchy and the outfits and choreo are the most awesome I have ever seen in kpop (excluding T-ara's Bunny Style, which was made for Japan).

No wonder the asshat knetizens are trying to bring them down...

Since I'm quite new to Crayon Pop, could you recommend me some songs?  I totally love Bar Bar Bar, but didn't really like Bing Bing.

 

I see another poster has given a list of the other tracks, with Crayon Pop it's quite often the dance routines and live performances that sell it...
