Did you watch 'Fated to Love You' Korean version? What did you think about it?

I freaking loved it, I watched it whole over two days last weekend and I find myself still replaying some of the most memorable or hilarious scenes. Actually I don't quiet remember another kdrama that had as perfect balance of a romance, comedy and melodrama in it as FTLY had.

But the ones who shined the most and kinda made a drama for me were without a doubt Jang Hyuk and Jang Na-ra as leads. Like, they share such a special kind of chemistry together that I could watch them just being interviewed for 10 hours and wouldn't get bored. I'm not usually moved by kdramas couples or lovestories, but this one hit me right in my feels.

Also this masterpiece is my most played song of a last week:

It makes me feel like this vdTFOEG.gif and remember all the saddest scenes and heartbreaking moments.

I didn't have enough of Jang-Jang couple, so I checked out their one-shot drama 'Old Goodbye'. I was wondering if they always had this kind of spark or just in FTLY and dear God, I was so wrong if I thought they didn't. Now I wish they reunite soon, if Jang Hyuk signs on this 'Beautiful Mind' or whatever on KBS2 in May, I hope Jang Nara is his leading lady :rlytearpls:

So, what is your opinion on this drama and how you feel about it? What did you think of main couple?

I only saw the first 4 episodes and didn't like that much. But maybe it was because I've seen the taiwanese version, I was disappointed by their adaptation.

Anyway, I might give it another shot someday.

And why the male lead keeps on laughing in such a bizarre way? It made me dislike him a lot.

I love how they fight the obstacles during their relationship.  :ahmagah:  :ahmagah:

I really love the Jang Hyuk  :hurr:. His laugh was so addicting and funny ^^ . He was so caring  :rlytearpls: . Maybe not in beginning  :imstupid: .

I cried a lot when

when the baby is dead

Jang Nara  :rlytearpls:  I love her transformation later on.  :ahmagah:

Their chemistry was so good. Those bed scenes was so funny  :hurr:

It was very funny and romantic ^^.

I love the grandma for first time  :imstupid: .

Also Jang Hyuk bro and Jang Nara bff couple  :ahmagah:

Ofc second lead  :rlytearpls: . His "father" act was so funny, too. ^^

First time I see a korean adaptation improve the original.

Jang Nara is perfect for vulnerable characters because she does it in a way that doesn't annoy the hell out of me. I think the twist they did (she was stronger in a way, he was weirder) from the original was reeeeally good.

Ah... and this mitic scene:

And this version has Choi Woo Shik (the half-brother, dragon), anything is better with him in it.

So true, I loved her as a quiet and timid Post-it Girl, but when she came back from France I loved her even more :rlytearpls:  What's even better is that while she became stronger and more confident, she still was caring and kind-hearted Miyoung from before...

I don't watch dramas but I really loved this one   Jang Nara and Jang Hyuk look so good together plus i love their chemistry

So true, so true :rlytearpls:

This drama brings back some sad memories.

I want a neighbourhood oppa  :imstupid:

Yeah, first time in ages that a TV show brought some tears to my eyes, especially

the scene when she sat in his room and watched his 'reminder-videos' - the line 'I wanted to sit with her so badly...', I so felt his pain then, damn. Jang Hyuk is really an amazing actor.

This scene and the other one with them playing this hand-catching came were so funny, I replayed them too many times to be honest

And the bolded one, it's exactly my thoughts - Jang Nara is my favourite Korean actress and I love how she can make us root for her typical 'doormat' character instead of wishing to choke her to death.

overall I think the original is better,

but I like the spark in the Korean version, it's good, just draggy and unnecessary near the end,

I really like his laugh, like it get to me since the 1st time and she is so cute

The OTP is matched and fitted, it's cute

If you want to cry like shit, go ahead and watch it xD it's a rollercoaster of emotions (*and I'm not even the crying type) and watch The Promise/Heaven's Promise, it's plot is a bit more interesting and just as rough of a rollercoaster, can't stop crying when you watch this till the middle, a must-watch of 2016 dramas)
