I've been playing non stop for the past week and I forogt just how much I love this fucking game. Mass Effect 2 to be specific. I haven't played in years and ah ...the memories.

 

Who are your fave characters? Kaidan Alenko for me.

If I weren't so thirsty for Kaidan then Thane would be my 1st fave. He is probably the most interesting character in the game. I love the drell race the most, too.

i could talk about mass effect for hours and have before. my play time for these games is in the thousands of hours lmao. 

 

i usually go full paragon/vanguard but ive done runs with infiltrator, adept, and soldier before. i tend to be kind of an asshole to the human companions tho because i think the alien ones are so much more interesting. except james vega, oh my god james vega love me down forever.

 

garrus is my forever husband tho i legit have a picture of him pinned on the wall next to me because he is one of my favorite fictional characters of all time!!

I like Dragon Age more though. I'm not straight but Cassandra is so hot and I love her as a character lol

    Thane really is interesting. I didn't expect to like him as much as I did. (and he's the only character that I choose as a romance option ^^)

 

During my first ever play through, I played as paragon (since I based my decisions off of what I would actually do). But my second I did renegade and honestly that was a lot more fun   She became pretty paragon on the third game though because the renegade options were just pure evil sometimes

ooo sentinel is fun! i made my bf do a playthrough of 3 using sentinel and it was neat, i really prefer vanguard tho, esp in the 3rd game when they added nova/heavy melee, it's such a great combo and you rarely die if you put your points into the right places.

 

my first playthrough of 3, i didn't have enough paragon points to save both legion and tali and i love the geth so tali ended up killing herself, it was so tragic   since then i always go full paragon so none of my pals die.

Exactly lol. I did it and just felt.........awk.....like....nah.The first time you meet Thane after he kills Asana is probably my favorite scene. He prays for himself and the sun reflects so beautifully. After that I just knew his story was going to be interesting.

I still haven't. You grow attratched to these characters whether you like them or not. You allow yourself to become immersed in their stories. It'll be hard to start over with a new team. I'm hoping bioware can pull it off...

Are you me? Lol I have never played full renegade or male Shep. I keep on saying to myself, "try new things!" but I just can't do it lol. It is hard to be a bitch and fem Shep is superior in every way.

3 is honestly not my favorite game :/ I'm playing just to romance Kaidan lol. And to see where everyone ends up because I can't remember. I will prob quit before I get to the ending tho lol...#stillsalty

I LOVE the mass effect series, story was great, characters were loveable, gameplay was tight (well 2 and 3 were) and the over arching story that you the play had control over was amazing.

 

Fave characters were (in no order)

Shepard (my Shepard was good for the big decisions but was renegade for the small decisions)

Tali

Garrus

Kasumi

Wrex

Mordin

Jack

Liara (first game, she kinda lost that cute, dorky spark about her from 2 onwards)

The Geth in general

The fucking reapers - that talk with Sovereign was spine tingling

 

And a whole lot more I'm missing out

 

HOWEVER, the ending to 3 - Worst. Piece. Of. Shit. Ever. Not only was it retarded (we kill you so you don't make synthetics that will kill you instead) but in my play through its extremely contradictory - they said synthetics and organics will always fight each other..... Except I made the Quarian and Geth make peace with each other, I literally proved them wrong

 

Anyway looking forward to Andromeda, I just hope the reapers arent involved, we already got their story in the last 3 games.

I've quite literally put hundreds of hours into the series.  Playthroughs with every class and every Shepard backstory.  

 

Will always love ME1 the most, but ME2 is the best game in the series.  ME3 was excellent up until the ending broke my heart.  The indoctrination theory is my canon.  I've refused to buy the ME3 DLC out of principle, but am finally considering it due to missing the Mass Effect universe.

 

Ashley and Miranda are my main romances.  

Have never been able to save Kaiden on Virmire.  

Biotic is my favorite class.

The Wards is my favorite song in the series(the song playing at the C-Sec elevator in ME1).

Almost always paragon, just can't bring myself to play renegade.

Dragon Age Origins is one of my favorite games of all time, and Inquisition was a pleasant surprise that gave me hope for Andromeda.  I'll wait on reviews before I buy.

I have played Mess Effect (and Dragon Age) series at least once a year since 2010. Such an awesome part of my adolescence playing through these stories.

My favourite characters are Garrus, Legion and Vega. Also liked a lot of Javik's dialogue; he's so sassy.

I used to be obsessed with Mass Effect back in the day. ME3 kinda killed it for me (those who were around BSN when the shit hit the fan probably know why) but I find myself going back to the series every now and then again. Those games have left such a huge impact on my life I still cry when I hear Vigil, I Was Lost Without You, Leaving Earth or An End Once and For All. It's been 4 years and I still haven't really come to terms with the ending choices haha

 

My favourite characters would probably have to be Liara, Kasumi, Miranda, Tali, Ashley, Legion and Grunt, but it's hard to not love the rest of Shep's crew as well. All characters are memorable in their own way and I think Bioware showed some amazing writing with most of them

 

I'm gonna lose my shit when Andromeda comes out, probably. Most definitely.
