You’re portraying Saya who fell in love with a sadistic man called Tsuge in the movie, Clover.
Saya is the heroine of Clover. I think this character is a person I want people to relate to. This character gives you a realistic feel. You will feel sad and happy naturally. I want to treasure those feelings.
Your heart wavered when your childhood friend, Haruki, appeared. How did you keep up with this?
Haruki was my first love and a childhood friend but I wanted to keep it that way. When I met Tsuge-san, I started to be conscious on what clothes should I wear and what sorts of things should I tell him. My heart flutters and I become nervous whenever he’s around. But, it’s not like this with Haruki. He’s a person I can trust and I’m confident with.
If you’ll be attracted to someone, who will it be?
Haruki it is! (lol) If it’s Tsuge-san, I think you have to hurry because he will immediately be coldhearted. My heart may flutter but it’ll be painful. But, Haruki is more gentle. (lol)
What do you think of your co-star, Okura Tadayoshi, who played Tsuge-san?
Although this is the second time we co-star, he is very serious. He takes care of everyone. Okura-san is a gentle and refreshing person.
Note: Haruki is played by Nagayama Kento.
