Hmm, generally, I don't really associate with people who identify as exclusively liberal or conservative (they annoy me to no end and I find them to be rather dense) as I believe that someone intelligent, capable of critical thinking, and rational will be able to discern the positive and the negative aspects of each ideology instead of subscribing to one party's beliefs. 

 

This quote does not apply to me. I'm a college student but I identify as a moderate. I agree with the liberals' stance regarding homosexual rights, but I detest their stance regarding drugs and abortion (my opposition to abortion is not founded on religion, rather on morality). On the other hand, I completely despise conservatives' neoliberal economics (and it dumbfounds me that some of their largest supporters are poor, white rednecks. I guess they're just too ignorant to understand what neoliberalism is and how they will be the most affected by it.) as well as their tendency to incorporate the church into politics but I very much appreciate their rejection of abortion (although they may often oppose using religious arguments, which is not ideal).
