her second account

She was great translator, so RV fans don't go hard on her, she really helped us a lot. I'm so sad, I hope she will not go hard on herself, she seems so sad about this situation.

EDIT: Glad it was clarified.

ah well not really her fault who woulda thunk that Irene having her own definition of what marriage is woulda caused such a kerfuffle, actually it's the internet so I'm not surprised

was it a mistranslation?

she said that she was not able to use her words well but then she started panicking and writing shit and we don't know at the end, this fan-account was mess and we can't clearly say what irene meant at the end but yeah, people have their point of views about this situation

Poor her. For everyones good, don't bash her if it might be mistranslated or misworded. You guys international rv/Irene fans still have a good use of someone like her that willingly translates your faves activities.

Edit: a her or a him? wtv

She did bad, really bad, and made Irene look really really bad.

I thank her a lot for all her translations and I'm sure she didn't do that on purpose, but it is a smart move to take a break from this right now.

I hope she doesn't feel too bad though...

Translators, especially non-native speakers, have to be really careful with their words and how they choose to portray phrases from one language to another. 98% of the time it's fluffy inconsequential nonsense, but other times it touches upon more serious subjects that need to be handled with care. Subtle nuances and grammar can make all the difference, as this instance clearly shows. It's not just about spazzing and translating as fast as possible, if you choose to translate for the public then you're taking on a responsibility.
