LoveKeumjo 599 Posted November 6, 2017 Share Posted November 6, 2017 is anybody else really miffed about Mix Nine not showing SE Girls audition??? that was our only chance to see sion, jiyeon, dawon and ara, but they didn´t even give us that? and than i realised that the unit also didn´t show imfact´s audition even tho they all passed! and then i thought back to all the fucked up treatment 9muses and ze:a got from variety shows, like never being shown unless they do something crazy or exceptionally good. like, not even reaction shots! (except for kwanghee, but he had to put a lot of work into that!) and it´s just like, what is wrong with all those public networks? what is their deal? why do they hate talent and visuals so much? LoveKeumjo 599 Posted November 7, 2017 Share Posted November 7, 2017 Well survival shows usually don't dedicate time to showing everyone who auditions and they prioritize companies/participants who have a bit of attention to them to get more views or to make drama/some sort of interesting segment to get more views. It is likely they couldnt make some sort of drama out of the girls' audition but idk I dont really like how mix nine is going anyway. It was lucky that the girls got shown back in p101 days, but that was more because they seemed to have wanted to show the variety of types of contestants they had (with our girls being the super super cute end of the spectrum and bulldok at the other end). Also The Unit in itself is really messed up when it comes to auditions I don't think its just to not show imfact in particular, the screentime distribution is messed up in general. Giving some contestants such a long time and then lumping a bunch together and leaving a large amount of auditions out? If they had included imfact, it would have had to be because imfact did so amazing and got a super boot or something or they would have been lumped together in a tiny clip. Like most of the contestants they spent time on would either be controversial bec they dont fit the show (the trainees) or they have a history that would gain the attention of people (being a part of a pretty well known group/being known in some sort of way but not being successful etc). Imfact doesnt fit either of those. They've been around long enough to fit the concept of the show, but not long enough to be like "hey we debuted like 9 years ago and no one noticed us" and they haven't gained public recognition and lost it or anything like that. LoveKeumjo 599 Posted November 12, 2017 Share Posted November 12, 2017 After watching the episode today I realised how ridiculous that "Seungri - Hyeri" scandal was. - Hyeri comes in, charms Seungri with her cuteness, he is pleased because idols need cuteness and he knows it. - Hyeri performs, Seungri´s expression darkens because even while singing her voice is very, very cute. - Hyeri finished, Seungri: "You are not a little chick like your fans call you and you can´t act like one while singing." - Audition over, cut to Hyeri after the audition. Now here is where I think the PD wasn´t happy with Hyeri´s reaction thus telling her to cry and say someting pitiful so that they can use it to add drama. These shows need friction and sadness. Honestly, that´s not even how Hyeri looks when she cries because she is really sad. And that comment about "Telling her mother about it because it was just too mean" is definitely from the PD. - Cut again, audition is over, show goes on. One of the reasons why I dislike shows like these is because they always make someone the scapegoat and it´s so frustrating to see someone´s life get ruined just because they get evil editted or because they are gullible and do what the production crew tells them. In my opinion, neither Hyeri nor Seungri should get any blame for this (even tho I absolutely agree that Seungri could have said it in a more polite way, but again, they said that they wouldn´t let people from other audition shows pass anyway, so again, just for the drama obviously -.-) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Hyeri's voice is unique to begin with so it's very easy to mistaken it as she's trying to act cute with her singing. Hyeri did make a wrong song selection(not suitable for her) for the audition thou, which i hope she will learn from this mistake. Now i am more worried abt Hyokyeong as she is getting more air time which is good for her but at the same time we wont know when they decide to start doing some evil editing on her. I just hope/pray the girls on Mixnine will finish it "smoothly". Jep... Btw, to the mod, could we make the tile: ♡ Star Empire Girls ♡ Support Sihyeon, Hyokyeong and Yunji on Mix Nine something like this? LoveKeumjo 599 Posted November 27, 2017 Share Posted November 27, 2017 Sihyeon barely got any lines was to be expected, sadly :( Their team leader was the one who assigned them their parts (gave the biggest chunk of lines to herself of course, i would do the same if i were her) and the other trainees all said that they liked their parts so Sihyeon with her shy personality around strangers won´t start complaining about hers.
