How are they confusing? xD; They're pretty much the same as other 3D Zelda games. Unless you mean the actual controller.

 

im so used to L-targeting and having Link defend at the same time. I have to press R too --___---

 

and im not used to 3DS controls lol

the Nintendo 64 controller is not bad, the control stick pissed me off sometimes, but generally it was nice. I liked the C buttons, as opposed to GC's C-control stick ugh.

You mean the giant head in the middle of the main room? That's the very last place you go. You should rely on and check your map in OoT. Open all chests and make sure you have the map/compass and all keys. If you have the map, it should tell you where you haven't been yet.

Yeah...she makes me so mad. -_- Try to do the Cave of Ordeals this time and get the Magic Armor this time around

I got the magic armour wayyy late in the game that i didnt use it lmao but yeah. Imma try completing most of the aide quests earlier >_< Cave of Ordeals?

You can't get the Cave of Ordeals until later in the game. It's hidden in the desert. 50 floors of unending monsters with a big reward at the bottom.

Bleghh i despise temples but i may attempt that in my new file!

 

 

Status update for OoT: Just finished fire temple and now i have to dethaw the King Zora from that red ice. Sigh. Im not looking forward to the water temple...at ALL

My baby cousin took the 3DS to play Animal Crossing. No OoT for a short while :((((((

I don't blame you. That temple is the worst. :( If you hit a wall and think there's nothing left to find, search the bottom of the main room. You might find a key or room you missed. The temples are more fun after this one. At least the Serenade of Water is pretty. *__*

 

Ughhhhhhhhhhhh but there is Dark Link so im excited!

 

After this, WIND WAKER WOOOT. Still wondering if i shuld play majoras mask on wii or wait for the inevitable remake(ofc). And theres the new Wii U title *_* and thers skyward sword. Oh lord. My cousin wants me to play SS lol im not happy about the controls tbh

Dark Link is probably the coolest idea in the Zelda series. It's too bad they really haven't used him in a bigger way.

 

I don't know if you should wait for the MM remake....that might be a long wait. And the SS controls really are very good if you want a realistic experience. If that's not the case and you would rather just use a regular controller, then yes, you'll probably hate them.

 

I thought you didn't like Wind Waker?

My bad. I thought Wind Waker was a different game. It was Four Swords that I didnt like lol. Blegh

 

So i was reading up about Zelda Wii U and what in the world do they mean by an art style thats not realistic but not cartoony (thnk god) either? Im scared D:

Realistic = Tech Demo

Cartoony = Wind Waker

But then they would have done those styles before, right? This is quite interesting but I really want the art style to be similar to TP or the Tech demo. But eh...

Don't know. Probably OoT Link because he can control the flow of time and the weather. Fierce Deity Link, though...

 

 

 

you know, i've been reading fanfics of LoZ lately (dont judge me) and how they interpret the Fierce Deity is quite interesting heh. Isn't he like, the God of War? or something like that.

 

But yeah, Fierce Deity is badass. I don't think I can wait for a Majora Mask remake :(

I think Ocarina of Time will be my second 3DS game.

 

Sadly, I've never played any Zelda game. I just got the first one for virtual console on the 3DS, and while it's kind of confusing, I don't think it's as hard as reviews made it out to be, lol. I just didn't grow up with any of those classic games, so I didn't know what to expect.

 

So... seeing as though OoT3D has been about the same price since release date, would you all say it's worth it if I buy it now instead of hoping for a holiday sale in December?

Had the same problem. Just get it, it's a classic lol. I'm playing it right now, and it's quite different from the games I played in my childhood. But if you really want to wait, wait for sale!

Wow that theory is really interesting! I wish tey delved more into the subject of the Interlopers because I read theories that the Majora's Mask was the prototype of the Fused Shadows...hmmm

I want future Zeldas to cover this stuff. The darker side of Hyrule, the wars, the Interlopers...There's too much potential not to. :( It would be sad if they skipped it because they'd rather make easy Zelda games.

 

I kind of feel like editing my old one and re-uploading it. Then I want to try writing a new one, but I dunno if it'd be any good. ><
