I still don't think it will even get to half of what Baekhyun got. Taeyeon and Baekhyun are both more popular than Krystal and Kai and both have huge fanbases. You had Sones (who are largely protective and delusional when dealing with Taeyeon) and EXO-L (who had never experienced a member dating) at each other's throats 24/7. Constant EXO-L bashing Taeyeon and SNSD. Constant Sones bashing Baekhyun and EXO. EXO-L bashing Baekhyun harshly as it was the first EXO dating scandal and they were still highly delusional about being oppas future girlfriend. Sones bashing Taeyeon for saying instagram was dedicated to them but having some posts dedicated to Baekhyun. Anti's of both butting in and trying to stir the pot more. etc. Honestly speaking, I don't think Kai and Krystal are any better than Baekhyun and Taeyeon. They didn't wear any masks, they wore obvious couple items, Krystal had some instagram stuff (at least I read in a thread, not sure if legit as it was a pann post iirc and those are usually the delulu fans), stayed a hotel together, etc. The reason they're getting a lot less flack is because as I said EXO-L have already experienced an EXO member dating so it's not as shocking and Krystal's fanbase isn't even half the size of Taeyeons and isn't half as dedicated. A dating news cannot shake them anymore, they are immune. remember when some reacted badly even asked Baekyun to leave the group in June 2014? they won't say such things now (because this is Exo'Ls major fear) they care about the members and the group, is been 4 years already, they are more bound to them than ever. They were actually very quiet and bad luck got them caught. Don't put the blame on them. They were so discreet about it that when the rumors came out last week everyone was so sure it was fake because they basically pretended to ignore each other for years in front of the cameras.
