Hyooga 10,307 Posted April 3, 2016 Share Posted April 3, 2016 in every group there is a role for every member and lbh, unless you are a super top tier group not all members will be relevant and since they come from one company, the members need to fit a certain 'style' but produce 101 broke those barriers because 1) since popularity was to be determined by the audience from the very beginning, they automatically get to classify those who have relevant followings 2) because they come from a variety of companies, the girls are naturally diverse in image, styles, and skills so everyone has a fave not to mention produce 101 was a big hit even among the general public in korea& international kpop fans...... it will be fascinating if IOI becomes bigger than MNET's expectations....1 year is not a short time.....this must be be a headache to the companies of the girls....they hit daebak but it is not their company that gets to take advantage of their trending status lmao Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

raizen 149 Posted April 3, 2016 Share Posted April 3, 2016 i came from 2017 and after one year, the group will meet a consensus to still promote as a joint project between the agencies but for only 7 of the girls, the other 4 members came back to their own agencies but promise they are willing to do collaboration in the future. the 7 members group will be managed by a 3rd party management, however the girls's individual promotion will be managed by their own company. also, 1 of the girls' contracts was bought by a company that already have 2 members in the group, making them the company with most members in IOI. also the group name changed to IO17, with the meaning that they now have 7 members and was formed in the year (20)17 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

onieyez 425 Posted April 3, 2016 Share Posted April 3, 2016 I'll give them points on uploading the performances and also giving us extra behind the scenes videos too. the first episode was a mess though and the second eliminations group battle concept was also a setup to ruin some of the trainees still a pretty good show, but I don't think some of the members company would let Mnet keep their trainee after seeing how popular they've become although I do wish Pledis trainee were somewhere else beside Pledis that's all (yes I've given up hope on pledis) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
