Do you think Yoojung would have made it in IOI if she never got center for Pick Me?

There is no way of knowing.

 

It's hard to say because most people got to the top because of screen time or visuals.

 

So the question is would she have gotten enough screen time without that spot

so probably yes, because mnet made a pretty big deal about when she did that wink and "come hither" move lol ;) although maybe not as high up.

Visually she is not that attractive (tbh) but her screentime definitely helps her showcase her personality/charms

 

If Yoojung got as much screentime as Doyeon (very little) I don't think she would have made it in 

Agreed, also playing her up as an introvert who surprised everyone by making it into A team also helped her. If they had used that time to focus on another girl who suddenly made it to A team then that girl would have gotten the popularity instead and idk how far Yoojung would have made it.

I don't think she would have been top 3. But she still looks like Son YeonJae, has an interesting personality, and did well in Bang Bang. Maybe her and Pinky would have flipped spots.

Yeah, our fake Maknae's cute personality shone through her Fantagio peers. Without that spot, I don't think she would've been as high up. But her performance face expressions and adorable dance skills would have made her stand out.

The centre helped of course with the exposure that went with it, the introvert who turns into this dynamite package was what Kick Started things imo... You saw a very different side of her once she got to know the others, so I think that she would have likely made the final 11 even if she had not been centre... Screen time is important, but it's also what you do with it when you get it... Hyeri was so, so close and how much time did she get?

Totally agree! Some girls truly have an aura when they perform, but it is what they do with it. For example, the same (ok, not the same and in a muuuch smaller scale) happened in Sunmi Full Moon, when Chaeyeon seemed to be the center and Pinky had already been told a few times she didnt ''fit'' the center position. So at the end being or not the center doesnt mean inmediately all eyes are on you. If Yoojung is good at something is getting your attention by being a great performer! Lets remember Bang Bang and enjoy it one more time:
