She Is Most Popular Female Singer in My Country. What Do You Think of Her Voice?

Her name is Meas Soksophea. She is the most popular female singer in Cambodia. She started her career since early 2000s. After over 10 years, she still stays as the top female singer in her homeland. I don't expect you guys like it, but I will appreciate if you can give her a chance.

Her songs seem kind of unpolished but they're not bad.

I've never heard Cambodian/Khmer songs before so that was rather interesting. The first song is quite nice.

She had poor technique to my untrained ears. her high notes were clearly poorly supported. also, she had no vibrato. and, it did not look like she was a good dancer. Her look was average too.

 

Popularity is a mystery. Many times, ones who are good for nothing become a super star while pretty and talent ones don't.
