i'm surprised so many people didn't see the part about someone reading the manhwa yeon joo brought to the manhwa world coming? the moment i saw her wake up in the manhwa world and left the comic book on the bed i said to myself that someone is gonna read that book and i kept wondering why she wasn't going back to get it. the writer is indeed amazing.

Omg... nice cliff-hanger. Glad the progression has been ramped up.

I seriously forgot about Yeon Joo having the manhwa on her when she got transported. Some people have sharp eyes. Oh Kang Chul. I was wondering if he remembered... he also hid his hand when it was disappearing too. Villains are too powerful now! Also, doesn't Yeon Joo smell really bad and feel really bad now? It's been a month + a week probably.

yeonjoo never actually has to live out the whole one month passing, for her it's still been like a day maybe? because the time just flashes past her eyes

I keep hearing people saying that Kang Chul's memory 'returned' but that's not the case.

He just read the webtoon and connected everything back to his dream that he had so yes he is aware of everything that happened and he is aware that he is the person in the webtoon but he didn't "remember" it per say

that's why at the end he asked yeon joo for confirmation if he is really her husband

do you understand what i mean

What do you guys think Kangchul exactly meant, when he said in the preview for the next episode:" From now on, I will summon myself"?

i don't quite understand either but koreans are saying it's a legendary line or they got chills but i'm just here like huh???

in the words of kangchul imma need some context. i guess some things dont translate well from kor to eng?

I had to pause the episode because I'm so in love with this drama! The thing I noticed again is that this drama is always aware of potential criticisms it might get. Like how some negative people said they thought the romance moved too fast so just now KC mentioned how they got married too soon but that's the situation they were in and they did what they had to.

same. i love that they didn't rush their love line because anyone can see that it isn't what it used to be.

i love that they showed us them being awkward because he's not the same person he used to be..

he has to start building the deep emotions he had for yeon joo from scratch

Osen -Naver: 'W', Lee Jong Suk kills the culprit... Han Hyo Joo in danger of dying after getting shot

1. [+8,102, -95] Kim Eui Sung's villain acting gives me goosebumps.. The shooting scene in the end is daebak ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ Writer please save Oh Yeon Joo ã…œã…œ

2. [+6,688, -79] As if today was the last episode.. Writer, we want a happy ending ã… ã… ã… ã… ã…  I wanna see Kang Chul be happy, he's too pitiful ã… ã… ã… ã…

3. [+4,903, -71] Goosebumps.. Writer, we don't need to worry about Yeon Joo, right? ã… ã…

4. [+4,897, -88] Felt satisfying and empty at the same time when the killer died

5. [+4,289, -120] This drama is meaningless if either Lee Jong Suk or Han Hyo Joo disappears

6. [+1,302, -15] Line of the day: Why am I your dad?

7. [+1,260, -23] I got chills down my spine when Kang Chul and Soo Hee's made eye contact in front of the hotel!! I've never felt so spooked watching a dramaã… ã…

8. [+1,178, -10] They better be paying Soo Bong good money for that job.. The poor guy is now suffering from a heart condition ã…‹ã…‹

Newsen - Nate: 'W' Kim Eui Sung summons himself into the real world, kidnaps Han Hyo Joo 'Terrifying'

1. [+331, -3] His gun took so many lives, but is he really dead? I watched on with my hand over my mouth...In the preview, it looks like Yeon Joo dies. Why is Kang Chul in danger again? It's nearly the end of the drama....

2. [+325, -3] I honestly got goosebumps when he pretended to be the dad and revealed himself to be the killer... So freaky

3. [+296, -2] Writer, pardon me for saying this but you're crazy...

4. [+32, 0] Does the writer ever get headache when he writes? Because just watching and piecing everything together gives me a headache

5. [+28, -1] The killer died but what is this awkward feeling...

6. [+26, 0] Who Kang Chul referred to as "dead" in the preview is not Yeon Joo but the killer

7. [+26, -1] Daebak goosebumps~~ Writer, no matter how much of a genius you are, how do you make every episode so intense like it could be the last one? I seriously cannot predict what happens next

I just watched Episode 13. Damn, that episode is intense. Although I am nervous about YeonJoo, I am very positive she will be okay, besides, wasn't she shown in the hospital bed with Chul beside her? The part that confuses me with the preview was the "She is dead." part. Maybe they are trying to pull a SoHee on the father by not telling him YeonJoo is alive? **I still lowkey feel sad that they have kept Chul being alive a secret to SoHee.** But that would not make sense because unlike SoHee, the father knew about the two worlds. Damn.

Also, I may not be the only one who noticed this but maybe Chul suddenly got cold and decided to wear his previous long sleeves over his shirt when he was on his way to YeonJoo.  :hurr: I swear he wasn't wearing it even when he got in the car.

they probably edited the preview to make it look like he was talking about yeon joo.. he's probably just saying the killer is dead for all we know. but maybe she will die and they will bring her back to life - the w production team said they would be introducing new variables this week

episode 15 spoilers:

KANG CHUL IS THE MOST PITIFUL PROTAGONIST OF ALL MANHWA AND KDRAMAS OMFG. He's been stabbed, nearly poisoned, nearly got into a car crash, fell off a building, and now tortured and nearly beaten to death T_T

Anyway I love how Chul saved Seung Moo from committing suicide and called both him and Yeon Joo his real and living family and communicated directly to Soo Bong from the manhwa and summoned Han Cheol Ho to the real world so that Seung Moo can get the tablet and bring back Yeon Joo. But why did his arm start to disappear when he's not a cartoon character??

Soo Bong screaming at clueless Professor Park for asking Seung Moo why manhwa Yeon Joo died was hilarious.

Also, it looks like from episode 15's preview that Seung Moo ends up in a mental hospital or something and did the killer come back or something because there's a scene where he's trying to strangle Yeon Joo and screaming at her, "I shot you!"

I came out of watching that episode confused lol

Related to this I just read a beautiful analysis on dramabeans about this that I think it's good to think about:

"It’s actually Chul’s singular drive—to avenge his family in his youth, and to protect his family now—and it makes me sad to think that W was really Dad’s way of living out his fantasy post-divorce, where he’d be the kind of man not to ever give up on his family and lose them. It explains the villain’s sole focus on always killing Kang Chul’s family without rhyme or reason, because family was always the core of the conflict—what the hero/Dad was fighting for, what he’d lost, what he desperately wanted to regain more than life itself. And to get symbolic, it explains why the villain’s face was ultimately Dad’s own—because he’s the one who destroyed his own family."

I always felt the killer was meant to have dad's face but I could never really put it in the right words. Dad wanted to be like Kang Chul, someone who fights for his family, but he's actually just the one who destroyed a family. Both KC and the killer are related to dad. It's like expectation-KC and reality-the killer.

glad to know i'm not the only who reads dramabeans reviews, i always lurk there lol
