Actress Kim Ji-won’s still from KBS 2TV’s drama series “Descendants of the Sun†was revealed Wednesday.

 

 

 

 

With tears in her eyes, she seems to be talking with someone using a two-way radio.

 

Yoon Myung-joo (Kim) was infected by M3 virus during operation at the end of the previous episode last week.

 

Wednesday’s episode is expected to will mainly center on the struggles of other main characters -- Yoo Shi-jin (Song Joong-ki), Kang Mo-yeon (Song Hye-kyo) and Seo Dae-young (Jin Goo) -- who try their best to help her recover.

 

“Descendants of the Sun†is enjoying sky-high popularity at home and especially in China since its release on Feb. 24, and marked 30 percent in viewership ratings for its previous episode.

 

The 16-episode drama is now close to its climax with six episodes left, and viewers are speculating on its ending.
