Do you like public love confessions?

So my friend works at the movies and she was telling us how this guy rented one of the movie auditoriums to ask her girlfriend to marry him.

 

Some of my friends said they wish they were propose like that while some of us cringed at the thought of it.

 

Public love confessions also include asking to Prom in front of the class and all that mushy shiz.

 

 

I dont mind seeing others do that kinda stuff but I wouldnt like it for myself tbh. I didnt even let my boyfriend ask me to Homecoming dances nor Prom. The most I can handle is serenades, and that's because I live in Mexico and it's quite common for girls to be serenaded with mariachis so...

I'm not a fan of surprise public proposals because it puts pressure on the girl (or guy) to say yes, otherwise they'll come out looking like a bitch if they so no. If, on the other hand, the couple has already discussed marriage and they KNOW they want to get married in the near future, then I guess go for it, but I'd personally prefer an intimate proposal with no one else around
