^It looks good but I have waay too much 2D platformers that I haven't finished yet to add another one to my backlog lol  Currently playing Kirby Adventure on Wii which is really fun, my only gripe is that I wish we could use the gamepad to play since I find the Wii mote d pad a little harder to use plus it'll make playing in bed a whole lot easier haha.

 

I have OoT remake on 3DS but only got the first gem and haven't gone back since 

 

Ahh too bad, I actually haven't been playing 2D platformers for a while, except Donkey Kong Country Returns, and Yoshi's Wooly World is less about pure platforming like 2D Mario/DK games are but more about exploring the level and getting secrets and that, so I'm still not burned out, plus I'm playing with my sister, which is fun~ I might also get Shantae and the Pirate's Curse cause it's going on sale on the Wii U on the 9th so I still got some of that platformer fuel in me.

 

That's cause Kirby's Adventure is a Wii game, all Wii games require the Wiimote/Nunchuck cause all the Wii games do is just quickly boot it up in the Wii version.

 

In other news, I recently bought the Ace Attourney Trilogy, since I lost my first copy and didn't have the third, and shortly after...it went on sale .-. regardless though, I just re-finished the first game and I'm about to start Trails and Tribulations and I recommend everyone buy if they haven't already~ Pheonix Wright: Dual Destenies is also on sale, I'm probably going to buy that too, tho it sucks Apollo Justice: Ace Attourney isn't on the eShop, I'd have really preferred doing thing chronologically.

^Yeah once Mario Maker comes out, I think I'm set for 2D platformers for life haha 

 

And yeah love the PW series!  I already played the originals on DS and bought DD on release day lol. I've played every entry in the series so far, even the fan translated Miles Edgeworth 2 

 

Mario Maker looks like sooo much fun! I hope they aren't too Kaizo Mario type levels, I wanna make some levels esp with my amiibo Mushrooms, but I don't have any creativity ={

 

I'm just kinda worried if I buy Dual Destinies I'll miss out some stuff from the Apollo Justice game, I'm sure it won't be too bad cause I played through most of the trilogy and it seemed really good at making it so that newer players aren't lost, but still ehh, well I'll see.

Yeah tbh, it's been years since I've played the original trilogy and Apollo so I was going in DD sorta blind too haha but yeah each game story really stands on it's own, and somewhat spoilers but I love how each case in DD relate to each other in some way and none of them are 'filler' cases Athena>>>Maya too sorry

After having just played the first trail after finishing the trilogy, I...disagree, about the Maya thing anyway, I mean, Athena is nice and all but it felt so weird playing this game without Maya being there making wise cracks and that, I really like the animation and the characters are nice, but all I could think of during that trail was...I miss Maya ;O; after having just grown attached to so many characters, starting fresh just makes me sad, but like I said it's the first trail, I'll probs grow attached to them or something, but I'm hoping Maya or Pearl make a cameo or sth soon~

 

I do find it fun how the new lawyers are named after Greek Gods

Hah yeah, tbh I find that all the female sidekicks tend to share the same goofy personality as well as making fun of Phoenix all the time lol What was your fav case/s of the original trilogy? I always love that Von Karma bit and the whole keeping a bullet thing for so many years, blew my mind lol and ofc the Godot and whole Dalia thing, so sad and epic

 

I think Maya was a bit more eccentric and silly, Athena is cool but not as fun, plus she wasn't with me for around 3 games so obv I'm not as attached.

 

My favourite case? All of the final cases managed to get me hyped,

not Rise from the Ashes, it's cool and it introduced a lot of cool new mechanics, but...nah, I think of Von Karma as the final episode and that one as just a bonus, tho I wish the mechanics carried over to the next game or something. I guess it got used in that Edgeworth game?

 

 

I also really like "Turnabout Beginnings" I knew this case was about

Mia's first case and she lost the first case thanks to Dahlia lying, but I had no idea it was going to turn out the guy killed himself, I thought Dahlia was just going to hide some evidence or something

that was one of the biggest twists in the series for me, I NEVER saw it coming, even though I knew the outcome.

 

Bridge to the Turnabout I really liked too, I like how they managed to bring pretty much everyone back in there,

esp Franziska I really liked the character, but with her constantly whipping to get her way in court got annoying, so seeing her on your team made me like her more, her conversation with Pearl especially lol! <3

She's one of my favs now, if anyone gets a spin-off game next, I hope it's her~

Yah, the Miles games sorta use that I guess, less so in the second game I think. Been awhile since I played the first once haha. Of the spin-offs I remember disliking Apollo's ones the most cuz of that annoying gameplay where you had to scan the person's body to see what twiched if they were lying lol, so annoying Athena's emotion device is pretty neat I thought, and tbh I don't like Fran that much cuz she's always whipping people lmao

 

I like Fran, she grew on me =} I didn't play any spin offs yet ={ I hope the one recently released in Japan about Pheonix's ancestor gets released, I wonder how localisation is going to handle that one lol

lmao, yea I've seen that before Tell what you thought of the ending of DD when you finish it, alot of people didn't really like it but I didn't mind 

 

I'm still on case 4, but while I was listening to some Ace Attourney music, I got spoiled in the comments about who the bad person in the last case is, not what happens but who it is OTL

 

I wasn't even listening to any Dual Destinies music ASDSF OTL

 

 

God DAMN it, I would've never suspected him too! ASDGDF. Killed my hype, and here I was just thinking about playing Dual Destinies right now ARRGGH.

I LOVE THE KOOPALINGS!!! <3 <3 <3 and even though Miyamoto-sensei those aren't his kids, I don't believe it at all. They are still perfect to be his kids. Why would after all these years they were confirmed to be his kids, but when they finally return they aren't anymore??? It doesn't make sense, but anyway I'm a huge fan of the KOOPALINGS(I considered Bowser Jr. to be a koopaling as well)

 

I think it's cause they wanted Bowser Jr. to be the main Koopa so they made him the only son so he could be the main leader or whatever.

 

I like the Kooplings too =} Everytime I play Bowser Jr. in SBB4 I switch to Wendy or Roy cause they cute and pink =}

 

 

My Ness Amiibo arrived today! I've also been playing a lot of Splatoon again recently. I'm not that good at it but still.

 

I LOVE Splatoon <3 Next week they're going to roll out a huge update that's going to introduce a new bucket weapon, raise the level cap to 50 and introduce a new game mode and friend lobbies, I can't wait! <3

The new Splatoon update is AWESOME

 

Urchin Underpass's changes threw me for a loop, I didn't recon it and when I noticed how many changes it had I was just moving left and right randomly not even know what the heck was going on lol, but it's cool! And I love the new weapons, I suck with the Gatling Gun cause I always turn into a squid prematurely and it gets rid of the shots I charged OTL I love the Bucket tho! So much fun! but their win animation with the Gatling gun is the cutest!

 

I also really like the new clothes! I wanna equip the bamboo hat but I don't like it's main ability ={ But it's so nice!

 

Also, Fatal Frame has a SICK special edition!

I want it but IDK, horror games and me don't always go well ={ I wanna get into Fatal Frame tho cause I like it's style~

 

Xenoblade X also has a special edition

Might buy an old Kirby game on e-Shop... Not sure yet

 

If you want, I recommend Kirby Superstar! I have it and it's a ton of fun~ it's 8 different games but they're all really good and it's a really fun multi player game as well.

 

Kirby's Adventure is pretty cool too, if you're looking for the more pure platformer type game

I'm really excited for the switch! I'm sadly not picking it up day one cause really only LoZ is the only thing I wanna pick up, but I'll most likely pick it up as soon as Splatoon or Mario come out, I'm also interested in Arms as well~

 

But there is a testfire of Splatoon 2 on March 24th! It is very tempting~
