I'm excited for Majora's Mask 3DS version. Even though I always have a hard time with Zelda games and can never finish them without the help of a walkthrough, I'll probably buy it 

 

 

Pokemon and Persona Q are out on the same day OTL

 

lol, I actually had a lot of fun with Majora's Mask, but, like you, I never finished, I just got pre-occupied~

 

Plus, that game makes me so sad ={ Every time you go back, everyone you helped returns to having the same problems they had before, and some, without spoiling it, had some REAL problems, I was so sad when I had to move on, but I was like, I'm going to make a list of the biggest problems, and fix them before facing the final boss!...but again, I didn't finish it lol.

 

Definitely one of Zelda's darker games~ I pre-order the special edition! \O/ Cause I'm a special edition whore.

Just went back to replaying Hyrule Warriors after Bayonetta 2 and I'm so bad, keep pressing A to attack and just end up dodging OTL and ZR texpecting to go into Witch Time and just throwing bombs lol OTL

Yeah, I really like how Nintendo is going with their games, after hearing about Assassin's Creed it makes me glad I lost interest in the series after Black Flag.

I pre-ordered Pokemon so I could've gotten the game yesterday but I had too much stuff to do that I wasn't able to go to the store to pick it up. So now I still have to get it on the day of release 

 

SSB4 obv obv, it's my number 1 franchise

 

I always play it first with Peach~

 

Oh! I should also prob pick up her Amiibo on my way to school

The more realistic characters definitely got the short end of the stick, but Mario, Kirby and the simpler designs are solid imo

 

And honestly, I still think all the figures are pretty cool and it makes sense for the price, tho sometimes I walk past Disney Infinity Figures and I'm surprised by how much better the Infinity figures look compared to the more realistic Amiboo characters, tho that might be because of the simpler designs. (They need a game like Disney Infinity or Skylanders for these Amiboo's btw)

 

I'll probably buy Mario and Samus as well cause bias and Link, just because he unlocks a weapon in Hyrule Warriors, but for the rest, I'll have to stop myself OTL

 

I was actually going to buy Mario with Peach but Mario's were sold out lol OTL

??? How is that possible.. where I'm from you ONLY see Mario and Peach (and Pikachu). It's almost infuriating especially as I'm trying to collect them all. So far I have 14 amiibos (15 if you count my second Zelda figurine).

Haha, IDK lol, I see Mario everywhere now but on the day I got the Amiibo's, I couldn't find him, though I only checked one shop as it was raining and SSB4 was waiting at home lol

 

Ugh, one of my sisters lovesss Fire Emblem so I was going to buy her one for Christmas, but everywhere was sold out and online like, £1233423232, but I managed to find someone on Ebay who sold it at a reasonable price \O/

 

And I actually think Pit looks great! Link and Marth are kinda stupid (Why is link staring at the ground? what's with the piss stand?) But Pit's solid, which is good cause I bought it for my other sister for Christmas.

 

 

What I'm really pissed off about is that the ''showcased amiibos'' looks 10x better than the amiibos that we actually get. Here are some examples:

 

 

Disgrace.

 

Some of the more obnoxious plastic molds to help hold up the figurines.

 

 

These are just examples of how Nintendo is just pumping these out without putting actual care and effort into them.

 

What's wrong with this one?

 

Anyway, I didn't expect too much off Amiibo's, they're cheap mass-produced toys, the prototypes were just for show in a professionally lit environment, tho Link and Marth did hit hard, most are fine, I think.

 

Luckily, mine are going to be Mario Amiibo's, Jigglypuff and WFT, simple stuff so they'll (probably) look great \O/

I can't buy a Rosalina though, cause my baby sister wants Rosalina and she wants to be unique OTL

 

In conclusion, all my sister are getting Amiibo's lol

This is the most simple amiibo and they still can't make it look like the showcase model... I mean her shirt is sloppy her that weird unnecessary mold at her legs... I don't know.. I'm looking at mine now and it's fine, maybe it was just that photo.

 

haha Ike is already sold out too and he's not even due to hit stores until February.... these amiibos are really selling like crazy. I'm looking at my Pit not.. and the paint is just sloppy... the toes and the hand holding his weapon is just.... urgh. It could've been much better, but it's just not and that's a real shame.. (Maybe I expected too much).

 

I'm excited for the Rosalina, Toon Link and Sheik amiibo. (Especially Toon Link).

The more simpler amiibos just look so great compared to the more ''life like'' characters.

 

Oh yeah, that mold is weird, but I think it's cause her leg on it's own can't support her? I've got WTF and she looks like she's wearing a cast lol but I don't.

 

And I've got a Pit, it's wrapped up so I can't see it but I really liked the paint work, maybe I just got lucky and found one of the good Pits~

Hey guys does anyone have a Nintendo Wii U (basic or the deuelx) cause I'm thinking of getting one pre-ordered the New 3ds but thinking of taking my deposit back since I already have a 3ds Xl and can't see anything good about the new one despite the CPU performance and c stick which I don't need or want yet and right now I'm debating to get the basic wii u or the other version.. Both are around the same price and also I don't need the extra 24GB of hardrive due to owning an external 500GB hard drive that I can use for the WiiU

 

 

If you already have the external hard drive, it really doesn't matter.

 

Other than the fact that the deluxe edition is black rather than white (which is so much cooler!)

 

There was this promotion that gave you eShop credit for buying games online with a Wii U deluxe (I think it was like £5/$5 for every £50/$50) but it's over and IDK if it's coming back.

 

So really, there's no difference other than the colour~ Just follow ur heart.

 

Also, my sister gave me her old SNES \O/ Now I have all the Nintendo consoles from SNES to the Wii U~

She also gave me Mortal Kombat 3 and SNES fight stick lol

Also a Luigi shirt and Purple Pikmin Plush, she had a lot of video game stuff she didn't want anymore so I was happy to take it lol \O/

Thanks for the information I've bought the basic one but right now I really don't know if it's me or is Nintendo being a b*tch to me :( I've been tryng to update my console (5+ times already) and still nothing would work. Always the same error code. Does anyone have any info on it please and thanks you,

it's error code 108 0075 been trying to download the patch for 4 hours and it's seem to just got to 30 odd %

 

Ooh, I think that's one of the more general errors, I think all you can do is either move your router closer to the Wii U and try then or try again later.

METRIOD PRIME TRILOGY

It just became avalible for the Wii U and it's being sold for £10 for the first week, I ALWAYS wanted to play it and heard such good things but I missed both the GC and Wii version and it was being sold at a crazy stupid prices so having all three for £10 seems like SUCH a bargian, can't wait to go home and buy it \O/

 

Just got home, still not there ={ I'm guessing it's tomorrow, if you say a Sale ends on the 29th, please end it on the 29th!

Finally got a Wii U yesterday! Missed out on pretty much the whole last gen Wii generation so what games would you reccomand on Wii? I just got Mario Galaxy 2 on eshop and was thinking of MP Trilogy but I don't really like FPS that much unless is it sensor aiming with the Wii Remote?

 

Also went on a spurge and brought craploads of games already lol (My poor wallet ;-;)

Anyway, Super Mario Galaxy is a MUST for Wii games, SMG2 is even better, but u already have that.

 

Pikmin 1 and 2 are GREAT! They are so much fun, tbh Pikmin 1 sent my stress levels rising lol, but I had fun with it, I think they're hard to find though.

 

Also, Metroid Prime Trilogy is less of an FPS and more of a First Person Adventure game, it's less about shooting enemies (even though, yes, there's a lot of that) and more about exploration, I'm still playing though it and I'm almost done with the first, but so far Metroid Prime 1 is AWESOME and def worth a shot on it's own. Yes, you do aim with the Wii Remote, it's good though, like aiming with a mouse.

If First Person is too off-putting, try Super Metroid on Virtual Console, it's also a great game and it's in third person, if you like that, DEF try Metroid Prime.

 

Also, Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, it's a very divisive game but I had a lot of fun with it, the dungeons are challenging, and it has the BEST Zelda and the BEST Impa, though it's very linear.

 

For Wii U games:

Bayonetta 2!!!! Also if you can, try buying the one which also gives you the first Bayonetta as well, I think eShop had a thing where if you buy Bayonetta 2, you get Bayonetta 33% off, I'm not 100% sure if it's still going on, so IDK =S If you're even remotely interested in stylish character action games like Devil May Cry, try it, there is a demo available in the eShop

 

Pikmin 3! Also, if you plan on getting all three Pikmin game, I recommend playing them in chronological order, not for any story reasons, just that the games improve on the previous iteration so much that you wouldn't wanna go back.

 

Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, it's a great Zelda, albiet a bit barren, if you haven't already played it in the Gamecube times, then play it!

 

Hyrule Warriors, the most addictive game ever, I'm still playing it and I bought it day one, if you like Musou games, get it!

 

There are these special levels in Super Mario 3D World where you play as a character called "Captain Toad", a Toad who can't jump cause of his huge backpack, so you have to manoeuvre around a puzzle-like level and get all the stars while avoid all the enemies and hazards, if you like it, they made it into a full game called Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker, check it out!

Hah, thanks for the recommendations! I think I'll finish a few games first before actually buying too many new ones haha. I do remember playing Pikmin back on the gamecube but I don't think I liked it much back then. Might get Metroid later too~

 

And yeah I did download and try the B2 demo and it's pretty funish, might get it later and yeah I don't really like the Dynasty Warrior type of gameplay sorry I know Xenoblade X is coming out soon and I love RPGs but do you think it's worth playing the first one aswell?

 

Oh yeah, obv don't buy them all at once, but you know, just recs for the future~

 

I've heard amazing things from Xenoblade, but I've never played it myself,  I hear it's EXTREMLY hard to find (and expensive) and with it's New 3DS release, it might not be released on the Virtual Consoles, if you have a New 3DS or you do manage to track it down, maybe give it a shot? Otherwise, just wait for X.

 

There's no continuity between the two games so there's no reason other than it being a great game.

Ahh okay, yeah hopefully NIntendo releases it on the VC. I already have a 3DS XL plus the CPP for it so I'm not gonna upgrade to the 'New' one Besides that, I'm loving the remote play with the gamepad on the Wii U    soo convenient and I can take the game anywhere in the house. I have it with my Vita and PS4 too but it's sooo much better on the gamepad since it actually has all the buttons and runs at a higher framerate

 

Yessss, my 11 year old sister loves the Wii U too and it's in my room, I love playing with her but sometimes I don't wanna be disturbed, and she can just play downstairs \O/

Omg, I dunno if you guys already know this but in SSB you can access the demos of old games in the Masterpieces section, sooo cool
