Waiting for Pokemon X & Y, Animal Crossing, Bayonetta 2, basically 80% of the upcoming list

 

I've still got all the handhelds somewhere in the house, from the Game Boy to the 3DS

nintendo loyalist my whole life... i own every console/handheld up to wiiU... which i don't really want.

Gamecube+N64+3ds are my faves...

 

i don't touch any other companies shit... i hate x-box and PS ... 
 

I did have a Sega Gamegear growing up though...and it too was dope.

Seriously no one comes close to having franchises/games as brilliant and beloved as Zelda, Mario, Metroid, DK, Smash Bros., Mario Kart, F-Zero....the list goes on.

 

My first console was the legendary SNES. Now that was a console. And the games were and still are some of the best ever made.

Spirtual Successor to "Eternal Darkness", Shadow of the Eternals, headed to Wii U & PC

Following the release of a teaser trailer earlier today, developer Precursor Games has served up the first details for its Eternal Darkness sequel, Shadow of the Eternals.

 

 In development for Wii U and PC, the game will infold over 12 chapters starring Detective Paul Becker, who is called in to tackle a deadly clash between two rival cults, Precursor confirmed toIGN.

 

The previously-reported crowd funding campaign due to commence on Monday, May 6, will seek $1.5 million, with stretch goals beyond that which will include "future episodes, additional characters, additional platforms and in-game perks".

"We are overwhelmed by the level of interest for Shadow of the Eternals," said a Precursor rep.

Here's the official story blurb:

"When Detective Paul Becker is called to one of the bloodiest gang massacres in Louisiana state history, only two survivors remain from a brutal conflict between two rival cults. As Becker begins his interrogations of the suspects, their combined recollections will uncover the truth about the 'Eternals'.

"Featuring an ensemble cast of heroes and villains, Shadow of the Eternals will span over 2500 years of history throughout Egypt, England, Hungary, and the United States. Players will question the perception of reality as they try to balance the mechanics of combat, magick, and sanity events to progress through the adventure.

"Shadow of the Eternals will take players on a memorable journey throughout time; weaving historical fact with disturbing fiction to create an experience unlike any other."

Other games coming to the Nintendo 3DS
 
- LEGO Legends of Chima: Laval's Journey (June, 2013)

Rumored to be coming to the 3DS are:
 
- Super Mario Galaxy 3D (Nintendo has already confirmed that they have a prototype running on the 3DS
BUT their problem is that Mario is too small on the 3DS XL (However, they made Donkey Kong Country Returns,
so I don't see why they won't release this).
- Donkey Kong 64 3D (The main reasons Nintendo is porting over Donkey Kong Country Returns if to):

- Remind people that the 3DS is as powerful as the Nintendo Wii (And therefore can run their games).

- And to introduce the Donkey Kong series back into their main franchise (And hopefully revive it).

* A lot of people have asked Rare whether or not they'll be making a remake of Donkey Kong 64

for the 3DS or not and they responded with. Donkey Kong 64 belongs purely to Nintendo and that

they have no control over it. If it was up to them, we would have a remake of the game already.

Another game that fans think will be remade is Banjo Kazooie 3D.

I honestly.. don't like the way the new legendaries look, and we all know that they'll just release a bundle with the two legendary faces
on each of them... so I wouldn't wait that long to be honest...
 
Also, if you want a pure white 3DS. I suggest you get the Mario Kart Bundle (The XL one of course, because who wants the basic
3DS when you have the XL). The inside is white, the outside is white and there's no fruity print on it.
Also Mario Kart 7 is one of the best game on the 3DS so far Not even kidding.

I kinda wish they would introduce the yarn series to the 3DS though :(

They look so creative and so pretty as well... Yoshi Yarn looks so amazing.

Didn't know there was going to be a Yoshi game on the wii u. Now I can stop using the web browser on the wii u and actually a play game on it. Can't wait for it to come out

• “Panda†Pokémon‘s name is Yanchamu, it’s is the “Mischievous Pokémon†and is a Fighting-type. The leaf in its mouth is its trademark. It’s new attack allows it to switch out and lower the opponents stats. Yanchamu is able to learn a new move Parting Remark.
• “Bird†Pokémon‘s name is Yayakoma, it is the “Robin Pokémonâ€, is a Normal/Flying-type and is known for its beautiful chirping. Because it is fond of/friendly with humans, it’s popular amongst trainers. It can learn Flame Charge.
• Yellow/Black Pokémon‘s name is Electel (Erekiteru), it is the “Generator Pokémon†and is an Electric/(Normal?)-type; learn’s a new move called Parabora Charge. Whilst damaging surrounding Pokémon it restores its own HP. It absorbs the sun’s light and generates electricity.
• “Goat†Pokémon‘s name is GÅgÅto (Gogoat), it is the “Ride Pokémon†and is a Grass-type; is able to be ridden by the player. There will be more information on page 18. Gogoat is very gentle, and observes it’s trainer carefully. The Pokémon learns Horn Leech.
• New Pokédex is shown in the top right corner, it is the red expanding tablet device
• Boxart for Pokémon Y is featured in part in the lower right hand corner
• Chespin is the Shelled Chestnut Pokémon. It’s head and back is covered by a hard shell. It can protect itself using it’s shell when attacked. Bu focusing power into the spike on its head, they become sharper and harder.
• Further information on Fennekin:  Fox Pokémon. It’s a fire type Pokémon, the heart that it blows out of its ears are over 200 degree Celsius. ??? is its favourite food, it carries it around and eats it as a snack.
• Froakie is the Foam Frog Pokémon and said to be able to jump as high as the third floor of a building. The bubbles coming from its chest and back are bouncy, and protects it from enemy attacks. It temporarily blinds its opponents by launching foam into their faces.

 

 

 

 

 

• The region is known as the Kalos region. It seems to be based on France!
• You are able to customise a little — “You can choose the way you lookâ€. Skin tone and hair colour can be changed.
• Gogoat can be ridden in Miare City, one of the main cities in the Kalos region. The Pokémon moves in accordance to the  feelings of the trainer.
• On the right the screen for the start of a battle is shown. The text reads “Miniskirt Rika challenged you to a battleâ€, artwork for the character is also shown.

I agree about the greatness of Nintendo franchises/games. I love all the ones you listed, but my favourites are Zelda and Metroid. About F-Zero, I wonder if we'll have a new game soon... The last one came out a long time ago...

 

And I love you for loving the mighty SNES. I'm still dearly attached to mine. What are your favourite games that were released on that console?

To be he honest, the open world in 3D is so much better than their old style.

I'd dare say that they should have made the switch long ago... But better late than never!

The character customisation is a start and the new pokedex is expected

 

All past pokedex reflected the latest portable console from

Nintendo expect last generation where it resembled an iPod because the

Game itself was based in the US.

 

And so this generation will be based around the 3DS, so I'm guessing it'll be holograms now

When displaying pokemona on the pokedex!

The goat and the panda look awesome though! It says you can ride the goat in the fields...

It does look basic, but I'm betting everything that, that's the regions normal bird that you find everywhere.

Pidove, spearow, pidgey, starly, taillow are all pretty basic. But that's what gives them their charm

 

Anyways, my least favourite would be pidove anyway...

This one > pidove and its evolutions lol.

 

 

Also the riding your Pokemon thing gives me hope that they might just make individual sprites for

POKEMONS that learns FLY and SURF!!!

And other HM's as well!!

Love my SNES - its still works! Come to think of all my nintendo products still work, very good build quality.

 

As for games, my fave ones that I physically own include Zelda: ALTTP, Super Mario All Stars, Super Mario World, FF6, DK country, Yoshi Island and Super Metroid. Other great ones i play on emulator  

 

I own a few others but since I was a small kid at the time I didnt have too many games (though Im glad my uncle helped choose my games since they are easily some of the best around). The only bad thing is that a couple of games have no functioing battery to save data onto so I cant re play them (unless i want to do 20+ hours in one sitting).
