I was actually going to buy Mario with Peach but Mario's were sold out lol OTL

I actually got the last Peach as well \O/

??? How is that possible.. where I'm from you ONLY see Mario and Peach (and Pikachu). It's almost infuriating especially as I'm trying to collect them all. So far I have 14 amiibos (15 if you count my second Zelda figurine).

The thing that annoys me the most is that these figurines aren't even that "in demand".. it's just people using the current frantic situation (made up by the internet) to over hype these figurines, and thus people are buying them just so that they can re-sell them at inflated prices (particularly Marth and Wii Fit Trainer).

 

Also I can't believe that Ike is already sold out.. and they're not even hitting the stores until February... Nintendo really struck a gold mine with these amiibos. I honestly didn't think that they would be as popular as they are right now.

 

NOTICE: If any of you guys want I can buy them and re-sell them to you guys at a MUCH cheaper price. I am friends with the game store owner and they're selling them to me for a fraction of the price. So if any of you guys are interested in a particular amiibo but don't want to fork over cash for the full price then just ask me and I will happily try to get them for you guys for much cheaper.

 

 

The more realistic characters definitely got the short end of the stick, but Mario, Kirby and the simpler designs are solid imo

 

And honestly, I still think all the figures are pretty cool and it makes sense for the price, tho sometimes I walk past Disney Infinity Figures and I'm surprised by how much better the Infinity figures look compared to the more realistic Amiboo characters, tho that might be because of the simpler designs. (They need a game like Disney Infinity or Skylanders for these Amiboo's btw)

 

I'll probably buy Mario and Samus as well cause bias and Link, just because he unlocks a weapon in Hyrule Warriors, but for the rest, I'll have to stop myself OTL

Yeah... Link and Pit both look... crap. I am in love with Diddy Kong (minus that yellow crap mold thing holding him up) and Kirby's amiibo. I heard that Marth also looks crap.

 

 

I also got my first amiibo, StarFox. I don't know.. it's a decent figure but the quality is somewhat lacking. it feels really cheap, although the art is ok... but I think the price of 14 euro's is quite high for these collectibles. I'll probably not buy another one, or it must be my fav Sheik or something.

I'm so jealous. Where I'm from, Starfox is NOWHERE to be seen...

What I'm really pissed off about is that the ''showcased amiibos'' looks 10x better than the amiibos that we actually get. Here are some examples:

 

 

 

The obnoxious blue mold.. the clearly less refined texture and the botchy paint job. Not to mention the fingers having no separation.

 

 

Peach looks like she had a botched Plastic surgery job compared to the original more refined version. I REALLY hope they reprint these models and actually put EFFORT into them because they're charging them $17 a pop where I'm from.

 

 

The Link that we get has that OBNOXIOUS yellow plastic shit thing holding him up and his head is tilted down.. Not to mention the sword being nowhere near defined when compared to the ''prototype''.

 

 

 

Disgrace.

These are just examples of how Nintendo is just pumping these out without putting actual care and effort into them.

Haha, IDK lol, I see Mario everywhere now but on the day I got the Amiibo's, I couldn't find him, though I only checked one shop as it was raining and SSB4 was waiting at home lol

 

Ugh, one of my sisters lovesss Fire Emblem so I was going to buy her one for Christmas, but everywhere was sold out and online like, £1233423232, but I managed to find someone on Ebay who sold it at a reasonable price \O/

 

And I actually think Pit looks great! Link and Marth are kinda stupid (Why is link staring at the ground? what's with the piss stand?) But Pit's solid, which is good cause I bought it for my other sister for Christmas.

 

 

 

What's wrong with this one?

 

Anyway, I didn't expect too much off Amiibo's, they're cheap mass-produced toys, the prototypes were just for show in a professionally lit environment, tho Link and Marth did hit hard, most are fine, I think.

 

Luckily, mine are going to be Mario Amiibo's, Jigglypuff and WFT, simple stuff so they'll (probably) look great \O/

I can't buy a Rosalina though, cause my baby sister wants Rosalina and she wants to be unique OTL

 

In conclusion, all my sister are getting Amiibo's lol

This is the most simple amiibo and they still can't make it look like the showcase model... I mean her shirt is sloppy her that weird unnecessary mold at her legs... I don't know.. I'm looking at mine now and it's fine, maybe it was just that photo.

 

haha Ike is already sold out too and he's not even due to hit stores until February.... these amiibos are really selling like crazy. I'm looking at my Pit not.. and the paint is just sloppy... the toes and the hand holding his weapon is just.... urgh. It could've been much better, but it's just not and that's a real shame.. (Maybe I expected too much).

 

I'm excited for the Rosalina, Toon Link and Sheik amiibo. (Especially Toon Link).

The more simpler amiibos just look so great compared to the more ''life like'' characters.

And sure enough these happens to be the most rare of all 19 as well (just my luck right?).

Anyways for the next wave I will be ready and lining up outside the stores, guns blazing, shanks ready, straight razors and vaseline at my disposal fighting off all the vultures to get the entire wave 3 at release! Wish me luck T_T.

 

I can already tell that:

 

- Ike

- Toon Link

- Rosalina

- Mega Man

 

will be hard to get / come across if you don't get them almost immediately. Sheik and Lucario might also be hard to find. Infact all of the Wave 3 characters (minus Bowser) might be hard to come across once their initial printings sell out... urgh.

Rules:

 

• All Pokemon must be in the standard (normal) Pokeball (Including Legendaries - UNLESS they come in another ball such as: Event Balls, Dream Balls etc.)
• All Pokemon are ordered by their 'Dex number'.
• All Pokemon are ordered by their forms types that is listed in the Pokedex. (assuming they have any).
• No Pokemon are fake, that shit bugs me.

 

Missing Pokemon:

 

• 3 ''Cosplay Pikachu''.
• Zekrom (To make Black Kyurem).
• Keldeo (Normal Form)
• Event Vivillion (The ''Fancy Pattern'' Vivillion).

 

After those Pokemon, I will have all the Pokemon in the game including different forms and such (I am almost positive at least).

Let me know if I am missing anything guys and whether or not you can help me get my last few Pokemon that I am missing! ><
