generally speaking, I'd probably say singers. At least in today's society. Now Actors of the higher echelons probably denote more worth, but you're generally much more invested in the "person" that is the singer than you are the "person" that is the actor

Hard to compare since it varies from country to country, in China for example actors are paid way more per episode than in Korea. Also Japan has the 2nd biggest music market in the world and they still use physical CD's, meanwhile in Korea the digital market is dominant which generates little revenue in comparison to it's counterpart so Japanese musicians are on average earning way more money than Korean musicians. 

 

But at the end of the day, actors probably make more money on average since they tend to get endorsements easier which is where the biggest income comes from. Unless the singers are huge and are capable of touring, produce their album and get royalties or can compete with actors in endorsements they are gonna fall behind.

 

Actors definitely last longer while i think singers are generally more talked about, for impact it's probably actors? they have a larger audience.

Actors.  They can play like forever. And if they are successfull they have a lot of money. 

Singers - if we talk about those, who write their music thus have copyright to songs - are not that far.
