Jin Goo, who is a father and a husband, reveals what it was like to act in a romantic role with an actress 12 years younger than him.

During an interview with DongA, Jin Goo first reacted to surprised fans who didn't know about his marriage. Fans frequently tell Jin Goo, "I didn't know you were married." Jin Goo responded to this statement as he said, "Marriage is very important in life, but people didn't even know that about me which means they had no attention." Then he jokingly added, "If they were into me little earlier they could've stopped me from marrying. But I don't mind if people still don't know about it now."
 

 

 

Then Jin Goo shared how he enjoyed acting romantically with Kim Ji Won as he said, "People say the lines are very corny, but I don't feel that way. I actually always wanted to be corny on camera. I've always done characters with tough image so through 'Descendants of the Sun' I was able to relieve some of that desire."

He also mentioned his hopes for more romance acting in the future saying, "So far I was always only a right hand man kind of a character in the main romance. But I want to be the main role in romance from now on."

It seems like Jin Goo's marriage will not have any interference for his romantic roles. Fans can look forward to more of Jin Goo's sweetness!

i've seen him as a police/detective in a drama before..but he was only a supporting actor, appeared a bit at the beginning because after that his character died      but he is doing fine, a goofy police but a very dedicated one, who love his gf too much..

 

i remember first time watching him in Genius Ad Lee Tae Baek..he was a hero in that drama but he usually played as second hero..hopefully DOTS will give an opportunity to him to play hero again after this..

You can't even feel the age difference between them. They have too much chemistry for that to happen. And IDK why marriage is always brought up in his articles as a possible impediment to his acting. Everyone understands it's just work, talking about this is useless and most likely tiring for him.
