While Yoojung's friendly with a bunch of trainees nowadays, K-netz have latched onto specific ships.Here's a ranking (based on popularity/buzz on social media/K-communities (open Spoilers for example gifs/pics):1. Doyeon and YoojungCalled DoDaeng (ë„댕) by K-netz and Dojung to some extent by I-netz, one of ultimate OTPs of Produce 101. Ever since that "Q: How do I look? A: Like Choi Yoojung" scene in episode 1 the ship's been sailing at full steam. They've been training together under Fantagio for almost two years now and exhibit an emotional closeness and comfort in each other's proximity often reserved for best friends. I've got a bunch of DoDaeng content but I'll try to not dump it all at once lol Some examples of DoDaeng's strong emotional bond:When Yoojung was struggling to adapt to the P101 environment, Doyeon cried on her behalf and Yoojung wrote about it: Translation of Yoojung's journal entry: "Dec 8, 2015 (Tues) I really cried a lot today. My heart hurts because I’m the reason Doyeon cried. I really really miss the other Fantagio members. :’( sob sob Because I’m timid and slow to open up to strangers, it’s hard to get close to the others. But everyone is kind—when I was crying earlier, they comforted me and gave me strength. Our D group really has a lot of good people. ㅎ‿ㅎ Choi Yoojung, no more crying!!! Persevere straight to the end! Understood?! What does it mean and where did it come from haha Daengdaengii (댕댕ì´) is a term Koreans use to refer to cute dogs (throw ëŒ•ëŒ•ì´ into Google Image search to get an idea). Yoojung's cuteness is much like a puppy (many say she's beagle-like),so K-netz put the 'Yoo' (ìœ ) in her name and the 'daeng'(댕) from daengdaengii to make the nickname Yoodaeng (ìœ ëŒ•). Yoodaeng and Yoodaengie are by far the most common nicknames used for Yoojung and as a result, K-netz often use the 'daeng' in Yoodaeng to create ship names, including DoDaeng. The 'Do' in Doyeon and the 'daeng' from Yoodaeng to create DoDaeng (ë„댕), which in Korean sounds a lot cuter than DoJung/other alternatives.
