I just can't at these comments expressing all this praise and understanding toward him. If the roles were reversed, the wife would get so much crap for leaving her husband. We have such low standards for husbands/men that even just staying with her for 4 years is considered so noble and guys are automatically excused for cheating because they're "visual creatures" and other b.s.

It really just goes to show that cnetz make assumptions without really following the story. Selina has said so many times that her husband is the one who's helped her get over the accident both physically, but more importantly, emotionally and psychologically. She had a hard time accepting why the accident happened to her, and he repeatedly helped her think about it in a positive way. And she had a hard time accepting how she looked afterwards, and he helped her gain confidence and love her new skin. After she got better they helped raise a lot of awareness for burn victims. 

 

It's gross that they're excusing men like this, and it's unfair to her husband that this is the conclusion they jump to.

Selina has said so many times that her husband is the one who's helped her get over the accident both physically, but more importantly, emotionally and psychologically. She had a hard time accepting why the accident happened to her, and he repeatedly helped her think about it in a positive way. And she had a hard time accepting how she looked afterwards, and he helped her gain confidence and love her new skin. After she got better they helped raise a lot of awareness for burn victims.

I'd say they're just pushing their own shitty mindset onto him to feel better about themselves tbh

Why the f**k are they painting him in such a bad picture?! [emoji58] Why are they stating all of these stuffs that concerns appearance?! Does that really matters?! For gods sake, i can't even finish reading the comments. Saying she used to be the prettiest member before the incident and she isn't now? Bitch. She is still the prettiest. Those scars made her prettier than she already is. I admit i could see this divorce coming. Seeing it as in i could understand and wasn't too shock why they got divorced, but not that i expected that they would get a divorce. It has been said by Selina several times on how different their lifestyle is. Any fan who followed the girls tv appearances would know the problems the couple face. And i don't blame him either. I was really glad he was by her side when she needed company the most. Her father was obviously tired out as well from visiting two hospitals at the same time then. Hebe and Ella were busy with their solo activities. This leaves to only him to be with her most of the time. And I'm really glad he was there to encourage her, be it in recovery or in running marathons. They didn't work out like most divorce couples do. So stop saying that he got freaked out by her scars. All of these are baseless rumours and it is obvious that they parted on good terms. Why would they have parted on good terms if they isn't in the beginning? Selina could have public shamed him on Facebook or on weibo if he looked down on her. But that's not the case. For these two who have been through so much, i am pretty sure they became close friends and part of the family, just that they aren't a couple anymore.
