It is unlikely for a group to maintain themselves as an idol group when the members are in their 30s. Only a few groups have managed to stay whole and successful. The person has a greater chance to be successful if they invest themselves in musicals, OSTs, and strong vocal performances. It is a known fact musical actors/actresses have one of the most loyal fan bases (as exemplified by many Broadway stars, British musical actor/actresses, etc). If a member/group sticks with just being perceived as a member in an idol group without any external activities than their opportunities in their 30s+ will likely be limited. The public appear to be very fickle and youth-obsessed. However, Jimin (15&) and Baek A Yeon have the potential (as they aren't idols) to continue long in the music industry if JYPE tries to promote them even marginally better then the company has currently.
