I saw Batman V Superman today and

It was actually pretty good. Idk why the rating on RT is so low, it's not that bad.

One thing I didn't like was the CGI used for when Meta-Batman was beating the shit out of Superman.

Other thing I didn't like, but wasn't as bad as what I was expecting, was Jessie Eissenberg's Luther.

I just fucking wished they could have casted Bryan Cranston. He'd be so perfect for Luther.

And yea, Batfleck is fucking badass, that scene where he takes out all those armed men...

It was fucking flawless. One of the coolest fight scenes I've seen in a superhero movie.

Can't wait for the stand-alone Batman movie with Affleck directing.

Oh yea, that big thing that happened at the end, it didn't piss me off, I quite liked that it happened.

Seen it yet ? If you have, rate it out of 10.

I'd give it a 7.5.

Went to the midnight premiere....snoozed for half the movie and only woke up towards the end, which imo wast the best part of the movie.

The 3D made it awkward for me at the start as it hurt my eyes. I thought the script was eh...

Superman just ended up annoying me like seriously have some emotion , but Affleck as Batman 10/10 can't wait for his solo movie.

It just seemed.....rushed.... like the script could have been much better than it was. Also the effects could have been better too.

Over all 4/10

Yeah the beginning was dull and confusing very Snyder directing and writing style but middle to end was so good.

That dream sequence, the split second of Flash, then those clips of Flash, Aquaman and Cyborg being made by his father.

I give the movie and 8/10

You can tell what Snyder wrote and what Batfleck wrote.

Don't be a douche and keep the spoilers for yourself.

Rottentomatoes rated it 20% because of what they felt was an overuse of CGI and lack of good plot.

I was worried because of the bad reviews too, this was one of my most anticipated superhero movies this year so expected it to be good. After watching, I feel like the critics are too harsh on it. I enjoyed most of the movie, except maybe Jessie's portrayal of Lex Luthor (I prefer calm and calculative Lex) but overall, it was really good. Like...I can't even keep myself invested in the avengers movies but this one actually got my attention. People being confused by the Knightmare scenes may not understand the hints being given for Injustice/Darkseid. So these scenes may not make sense to them if they don't follow or know about the future plot. Anyways, I wasn't disappointed by it. I also love the dark and gritty nature of the movie with very very minimal jokes.

And Wonder Woman's entrance was epic as hell!

8/10

Solid.

Thank goodness I don't listen to shit-critics, I liked this more than Deadpool. I would've missed a decent watch. The movie did what it set out to do (basically set up the JL) and I enjoyed the ride. It wasn't super amazing, but I left the theater satisfied and looking forward to more. Think Affleck's definitely over hyped though. He wasn't that impressive and he lacked (especially since this was his introduction). I guess I expected more. My friend felt the same.

I would get another director though. Or just have Affleck direct. Just...get Snyder out of there. No offense to him or anything, but you can tell the reason behind the directorial (and story) flaws of the movie.

Major downside? Lex Luthor. Not only did they degrade him to some dweeb looking actor portraying him (no fault of Eisenberg, he portrayed what he needed to portray and did so acting wise), and made him a babbling psycho. I don't know wtf they were thinking. He didn't even fit with the film. Everything was so serious and dark that Lex felt more like that odd comedic villain that didn't really belong. But the hammy and corny lines didn't come out as charming and it threw the movie off whenever he appeared. It seemed to me they attempted to recreate some Joker out of Lex but miserably failed. Whatever, guess I'll get used to this...disappointing revision of the character.
