The man who killed in a hit and run accident an expecting father on his way home with 'cream pastries' for his pregnant wife of 7 months was finally sentenced to 3 years of prison.

1. [+1,640, -18] Just three years for killing a person. I feel so bad for the wife and her newborn.

2. [+1,364, -16] Only 3 years

3. [+1,108, -35] Hell Korea

4. [+52, -2] Thank you so much you f*cking judge for setting such a great precedent. Now people who cause accidents from drunk driving will know to run away from the scene and come back innocent.

5. [+40, -2] This sets a precedent and teaches everyone to just leave your car and run away if you cause a drunk driving accident and come back to turn yourself in after your drunkenness has worn off.

6. [+34, -1] Innocent on drunk driving charges, and only 3 years for a hit and run? What kind of law is this?

7. [+33, -1] I guess you can disguise murder as a hit and run and get away with 3 years now

8. [+29, -0] I wonder if judges will still sentence 3 years if it was their own family that was involved? I wish we could get rid of all the current judges and bring in new ones. We're a country that sentences murder, rape, theft, and hit and runs to 2-3 years of prison ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ this is so hopeless ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

9. [+26, -1] So proud of our Hell Korea ^^

10. [+20, -1] What was the judge thinking when he gave that sentence out... what has he been learning all his life to even reach a position of such power?

If it was Canada it would be at least 10 tbh

Not too sure about that, there was a case in Toronto where a woman ran over an old lady crossing the street and got a $250 fine I believe. Theres also tons of sexual assault cases where the perpetrator gets only a few years, Canada has some pretty lenient sentencings as well.
