hi i've kinda been lurking around for a while but i lovelovelove haeyoung from produce 101 so i'm really excited that she finally debuted!!

 

it's tough that their company is so small and a.de is their first idol group ever but i'm really hoping they do well regardless <3

 

do you guys think produce 101 helped them at all, seeing as none of the 3 girls who were on it made top 22 (or even top 35) and haeyoung only got to #38? i know i'm here for haeyoung bc of pd101 but the mv views are barely even at 100k yet...

 

also does anyone know why their debut stage isn't uploaded on the official mnet channel??? i was looking for it for a long time and only got a fan upload

I didn't really expect them to do thaaat well with their debut if I'm honest. Nugudom power is too strong.

Plus Jellyfish and Pledis powerhouse PD101 trainees are making their move as well.

The biggest problem with their debut is that feels a bit rushed and not completely thought through. They just added 2 members, Strawberry is catchy but is absolutely not the style where anyone expected them to be (see the dance video with Haeyoung... How do you go from that to Strawberry?)

 

Also 2able is too new to the idol scene as well. They're doing well in certain areas but very clumsy in others. We compared them a lot to Source Music who did amazing with Gfriend, but let's not forget Source was founded by ex-SM staff. 2able staff doesn't have that idol world experience at all.

 

The girls will take time to hit big, if they ever do. I just hope they can grow steadily even if they never become a major group. I just don't want to see them disband after 1-2 comebacks, or change lineup for lack of results.

I keep seeing Gauel and I'm sorry but since it doesn't seem like it's a typo, her name is actually Gaeul, Ga-eul

pronounced like "Ga" from "gather" and eul is harder to describe, the "eu" is similar to the sound "u" of "but" with L after

 

 

That aside, I'm not really in favor of adding members^^' 7 is kinda big as it is considering they're from a super small company. Having more members will raise 2able's expenses and further divide the girls' income when they probably don't get much (actually probably nothing yet) as it is... I'm torn cause I love Gaeul or Jungmin and if that could be their chance to debut... ;_;

Hey everyone, as the awards season is slowly coming to a close, we could start working on badges. I have some CAFs, one for the group for sure. Do we want individual badges (as in are there people here with enough posts to request and hold onto them in order for them not to get deleted)? A badge with 0 holders has no use and ends up deleted, getting CAFs is not thaaat easy that I want to waste them^^'

I have a strategical suggestion about the group badge, but it would only work if we all agree...
Instead of using the pretty much finished suggestions from 2able, how about making a bagde non-fans would pick when doing color matching?
There is only so few of us who will actually have the badge, but by doing it like that, we could get more people to check them out of curiosity for the badge, and hopefully turn that into permanent interest? 

It seems like a lot of people are planning on matching BEG and OMG's new badges for example, cause they look great together... 

I'm not sure what color/suggestion would be best, so far it's just a random suggestion... ^^'

I'm not sure how I feel about it... It's kinda sad but at the same time, better this than no comeback for months... I'll stay open minded an see how it works out...

Their 6th V live was them playing an escape room. It was really hard for them to broadcast and solve the room at the same time. It was mostly Miso & Rachel reading comments and communicating while the rest solve the room. Lots of shouting lol. Now I feel like trying out the escape room in my city.

 

I'm not up to date with V lives. Catching up...

 

I'm really worried their Makestar project will fail...

I'm not up to date with any V-live of any of my bias groups ^^' 

I am following the makestar project, and that's kinda what I was worried about from the beginning. 6k is not huge but it's still a lot, they wouldn't make that much selling physicals, they just don't have enough fans... If any member could have gone on Girl spirit or just a special stage on hit the stage, it would help so much already...

Woah Steal Love is such a bop, I think it may be one of my favourite sidetracks this year. I only heard it around a week ago cause someone posted it on a thread but today I got fully addicted to it and have it on repeat on my Apple Music. I hope their comeback is more towards that sound than another song like Strawberry.

 

I also checked out Choyoon's make star cover video and I love her voice!

Welcome here^^ I also prefer Steal love, even though Strawberry is very addictive, the kind of song you can't get out of your head "berry berry strawberry, strawberry I like it like it!" you know xD

Didn't come here in a while, I was wondering if anyone knew the new members, but 2able is not even updating about that... Damn, Haeyoung :( She deserved better, they all did, but I had a soft spot for Haeyoung since her first video on PD101...

They're not disbanded, A.de is now a 4 member group, the only original member remaining is Yeorin. The Makestar project got cancelled. That's the only info there is...
