He had kind of a Jonas Brother look going on and let me tell you, I loved the JoBros when I was about 13-14. Naturally I look over and flash him a smile. He did the same. We kept looking at each other every time we were in the same room, but I was hesitant to talk to him because it seemed like he only spoke Spanish. A few minutes later my Latino Jonas Brother comes up to me and says something that sounds like, "serenade name". I thought it was pretty weird that he was asking me to sing my name, but I HAD to play along to be flirty. So I reply singing in a talking voice with my hands to my chest being extra dorky going full on Jason Derulo. He just replies, "singing? Haha" I just said, "uh... yup." Then he just smiles and says, "nice to meet you" and walked away. Then it clicked with me. He was saying "say your name" not serenade. He just had an accent.
