Do You Think KHip-Hop Will Become as Famous as K-Pop?

Well, we all know about the popularity and success of K-Pop over the last decade, but how about KHip-Hop? Do you think it'll gain as much recognition as K-Pop?

With artists such as Primary and Zion.T, KHip-Hop has been getting a lot of followers and listeners. A few years ago, a KHip-Hop video would have only had maybe around 100-900K views on YouTube depending on how well it was charting (specifically on 1theK). Now, I see a bunch of artists, that weren't as popular a few years ago, getting more than a million views in their MVs.

A few months ago, I was scrolling around Tumblr and I saw some kind of favorite genre list, and KHip-Hop was on the list (though was on the bottom in comparison to where K-Pop was) which I thought was pretty surprising.

Even KH-H companies has been gaining fame.

From Amoeba to Hi-Lite to Factory Boy, artists that barely had any views on their MVs are now at least acknowledged with fame.

And do you think It G Ma been a factor as well considering it has been getting a lot of hype?

Edit: khip-hop is primarily acknowledged by international fans and korean people, not outsiders. some ppl dont even think it exists as a genre; that was the point of the discussion

ofc i know that khip-hop is popular; im talking about it being internationally acknowledged... lol

I can see it being popular but not K-pop level of popular. Hip hop in itself is popular but also in its own niche. So I think it'd be the same thing with K-hip hop. And to be honest, to my understanding, a lot of the "hip hop culture" is it being a sub culture that appeals to a certain audience and not everybody, unlike pop. So sort of hipster-ey but not if that makes sense.
