How are they charting most of them? Also regardless of the general result i think this it's a strategy of SM to know whose idols are the ones with the most fans support and public appeal. Uhmm...Taeyeon being taeyeon , almost winning gaon monthly awards ,only second to gfriend. , wendy did well , steady around 8-15 on melon since released. The others are not worth talking about.. they completely fall off from top 20 in less than 24 hours Link to comment

Can't remember He debut #1 but then fall like a rock tomorrow after , only around 100k download... All SM release so far are bad/average digitally except taeyeon. I'm pretty sure ppl at SM know that not every station song will be successfull, 1/3 would be good enough imo. silicon soul 19,457 Posted March 16, 2016 Share Posted March 16, 2016 I think people are looking at it wrong, it's not SM's plan to push out hit after hit for station releases, that's what the comebacks are for. It's more of a platform for idols less known musically/individually to have more of a chance to show off their metal without the usual risks associated with a full comeback. It's release a song, maybe a cheap MV to go along with it and that's it, move on regardless of the level of success (Taeyeon did extremely well but still didn't promote even after the success, showing that's not the point of station) Yoona is the perfect example, normally most would think of her as the last member of SNSD to get a solo as not a lot of people world have faith in her to deliver but here she is with a song that actually came out quite well despite the usual criticism like she's not as good as Taeyeon so she can't sing (compare the trans comments before and after the song came out). SM is obviously not a digital company. as for now WendyxEric is keeping up on the charts, Yoo Mi Rae did fairly well, DO collab and Yoona did poorly though. if we include Taeyeon results are definitly ok. i guess SM expects few hits during the year (1 or 2 is enough tbh), there's still plenty of time for that.
