I don't know the story of Joan of Arc, but I'm going to assume that the sword and shield represents strong and independent women and I hope that the group really stands by that. We need more girl groups like that.

I wonder what kind of music they will make...their concept is hiphop but I hope it's nothing hardcore. I would like something like bang bang from Ariana+Jessie and Nicki minaj rap.

 

Yh something like the mixture of bang bang would be nice - but I hope that they also do some hardcore dance songs. It would be great if they could be diverse musically and not be tied down to one image/concept like most kpop groups tend to be. They have the talent so it should be a problem.

Not only are The Ark debuting at the right time because of the hip hop concept doing digitally well, but they're most likely going to be promoting with other big named groups too and that alone garners the attention to the music shows and such. All of the other big group fans will be watching The Ark's performances and hopefully they'll get some hype from that too.

Tbh. It's already hard enough with the figure skater Yuna Kim, but everytime I search up The Ark related stuff on youtube, I'm always coming across this swedish band lol. 

 

Good media play though. Fans of the skater and the band may come across the group later on down the line and become fans.

... How to make yourself be hard to find with hashtags^^'  but Euna was a little weird considering it's pronounced "Yoona/Yuna" and Euna is a different Korean name pronounced close to "Uh-na"

 

And for the group name, I've resorted to using hangeul xD ë””ì•„í¬ + member name. (ë””ì•„í¬ alone gives interesting results though xD)

Definitely sounds like a band name - but I like that they are being different; it's definitely not a typical idol group name.

Yeah, I never liked Euna. Nobody would pronounce it correctly if it's spelled like that. It's a lot easier with Yuna.

Lol true, but that's how it's romanized. The only way you can accurately romanize it would be Yoona Kim, and we already know that could bring up some controversy and maybe some hate -shrug-
