Anyone noticed how the thumbs down button on youtube comments doesn't even work ?

On one hand it's great, because you can post w.e you want, thumbs it up yourself

and no one can take that +1 away from you, loooool

 

But then on the other hand, when someone says something really fucking dumb

they've still got more chance of it getting on the + side because there's nothing you can do to stop it...

 

It's been like this for a while now. Idk why youtube hasn't fixed it...

Lots of sites do that for some reason, disqus downvotes don't do anything either.

Idk, in the past if I remember correctly, if you got too many downvotes, the comment would disappear, lol.

I researched about it and it's somehow there as a placebo effect. Like it was intentional to be left there even if not working to calm someone down (the one who is disliking the comment) Well they are not doing a good job because I'm getting more angry the fact that it's not working.

Disqus downvotes pushes down your comment in the list though.
