little dramatic update.

 

while on vacation (the last week) i had a kidney stone episode and was hospitalized one morning. after i was discharged with some medications, i dialed my ex-first-boyfriend/ex-best friend who i stopped talking to a year and a half ago (had to borrow a friend's phone to do it since i don't have his number anymore). i just felt like he deserved to know about my hospitalization and that i'm okay... it's not like we fought, exactly, and according to another friend he still considers me as a friend (actually, i don't even know if he noticed that i stopped talking to him). 

 

he didn't pick up (might have been at work or doing something, i have no idea), and as far as i know he hasn't called back. not gonna try again because it's not my job to keep reaching out at nothing; i just thought it was the right thing of me to attempt to let him know.

 

i just wanted to get that out.

i have no idea. actually, this is the first time i've found him attractive; i didn't even recognize him (and still don't know his name).

when i looked him up i was able to find a couple more shots that i found attractive. also, he looks kinda like a "white" version of myungsoo.

 

that's not that he's UNattractive. he's certainly very handsome (especially compared to normal people, holy shit he's gorgeous), but as a model he just doesn't really draw me in outside a few shots (though again, he's very skilled at modeling, it's just... idk, not for me).

yep~

 

especially because the people that talk with foreigners are already much more open and aware in general. but yeah, outside of some "crazy" behaviors like ... talking on the phone when you're on the train... foreigners can be pretty much whatever they want to be and it doesn't really bother japanese people.

 

unrelated note:

 

while i was studying abroad, i heard about a group of male college students who went to a bar and got really drunk in one of the side rooms (this is the purpose of the side rooms, so there's nothing weird about this yet). they then proceeded to take of their pants and give blowjobs (not sure the number of how many took off their pants and how many gave blowjobs) ... complete with photos. which i think they posted online while drunk.

--> immediate expulsion from the companies they were planning to work at after graduation (though that may have been mostly because they were super wild and posted sexual photos of themselves on a public internet space).
