also am I the only person who just doesn't understand why people use the term "metrosexual" because to me the very word seems to play on the gay stereotype to describe people

I think an "other" category would be a reasonable addition but I think most people identify within the names specified so it's optional I suppose

I only played once and I got slapped and saw vomit so lol. It's a unique and touching game, which I really like.

I never really came out as gay. My parents think I'm bi, I think, as I told them that when I was younger, but then I sort of realized I had sole attraction to guys and never told my parents that because I didn't feel the need to. I already know they'll be accepting, but I honestly don't want to deal with telling them since I feel it's unnecessary. I just go along with it when they say "girlfriend" but I'll probably just rather come home with a guy and not have it be a big deal, so.

 

When it comes to friends and my peers, I didn't like, stand up in the middle of the quad and announce it or anything, because there isn't a need for it. If people ask, I tell them the truth.

I've had people I know (but am not really close with) make a lot of gay jokes recently and I just want to be like yo, I'm gay! to sort of shut them up and give them a perspective that these are PEOPLE you are talking about and they can be anyone you know

So I just spent like 30 minutes to an hour with another gay person in a room with all my friends, and I have never had my personality clash with someone so hard.

 

Why is it so hard for me to get along with other gays…?

 

I know we are supposed to love and respect each other but I don't know I felt like he was trying too hard and it was just off putting…even if he was super cute…how should I go about this?

 

It also doesn't help that my friends were trying to set us up…."Oh you're Asian and you like black guys?" "He's black and he likes Asians!"

 

Then when it was time for me to go they tried to get us to exchange numbers and I couldn't!

 

 

What threw me off was how open he was to people he just met, he is my friend's friend and he came in with just a mouth load of personal stories to tell us, I'm just like bro hold up you don't even know us…

well it's not like gay people are required to be friends just based on their sexuality lol. some people just, you know, can't

 

and i think that was pretty weird on your friends' part. it probably would've gone more smoothly if they didn't force and interfere as much
